It's nice that Mr. Domenech feels it is his duty to make comments on Elena Kagan's sexual orientation even though it has zero to do with her possibility as a Supreme Court nominee. Great reporting, for a second I thought I had clicked on US Weekly's site. I wonder if he has ever heard of libel...
Ben Donenech's behavior is completely unprofessional for a journalist of any sort. "Outing" individuals with no credible evidence whatsoever is disgraceful, wrong, and anti-Christian.
It is imperative that Mr. Domenech reveal the clearcut evidence he has of these rumors. If he cannot do so, then he should be immediately dismissed. Please do so, or I will stop watching CBS / linking to it as a credible news source.
Is that mealy-mouthed "I'm sorry if she is offended" edit supposed to be an apology? I wouldn't expect anything classier from a plagiarist and credibility-free rumor-monger like Domenech, but I thought CBS had higher standards. Oh well, deleted from my bookmarks...
Wait a minute. You're getting Ben Domenech to write for you? Huh? He's a known plagiarist. That generally disqualifies a writer from being hired to write again. Plus here he seems to have screwed up yet again, "reporting" something CBS has to qualify. I can never understand why right-wing hacks seem to have perpetual employment with the mainstream media. It's not like he's even a good writer. His thoughts are trite, his information is hackneyed and based on gossip, and his style is labored and unpleasant. I'm assuming that he must have some blackmail material on Katie Couric. :)
It is really irresponsible for CBS News to allow a partisan right-wing fanatic who has a history of plagiarizing articles to publish libelous and defamatory comments about one of the potential Supreme Court picks.
It is really irresponsible of CBS News to publish a partisan right-wing fanactic's handicapping of whom President Obama will appoint to the U.S. Supreme Court. Ben Domenech was allowed by CBS News to spread false malicious rumors about Elena Kagen's sexual orientation. I believe Ms. Kagen should sue CBS News for libel and defamation.
Why is CBS using gossip from Ben Domenech to evaluate anything? Ben used to be a leader at the right wing site RedState.com where you can still pull up archives of his lies about anything and everything. Ben also resigned in disgrace from the WaPo as his plagerist past caught up with him.
And now 'e tu CBS?'
You might as well have stories written by Glenn Beck. They'd be just as accurate.

Why would a news organization seek out an opinion from someone like that?
