Next Susan Boyle Found in Lin Yu Chun?

There's a new singing sensation on the music scene and he's causing quite a stir on the Internet, leading some to ask if he's the next Susan Boyle.

Lin Yu Chun, 23, blew away judges on the Taiwan's "American Idol"-like show "Super Star Avenue" when he sang "I Will Always Love You."

The song was first written and performed by Dolly Parton and then made big by Whitney Houston when she covered the song for "The Bodyguard" soundtrack. The Internet is abuzz largely because of Lin Yu Chun's pitch-perfect rendition of Houston's version.

If Lin Yu Chun wins the competition, he will reportedly earn $1 million and the chance to release his own album.

His voice did in fact changed after puberty but he realized that he can still command the voice of a boy. He can in fact sing as a tenor with his demo with Phantom of the Opera which damaged his vocal cord during the important competition which sent him home that evening. In order to get into the league of Paul Potts, he will need to sing Nessum Dorma and Conte Partiro (which is extremely difficult for non-Latin root speakers) and I would like to hear him sing Take me back from Erasure. I think he is an incredible talent and wish him the best luck in the world.

Watching that guy sing Whitney Houston creeped me out severely. Are there rules against a castrato? Not to mention that modifed Moe hair style. He's 23 years old and looks and sounds 10.

They need to come out with a show where the contestants has to put the faces with the singers. Wouldn't that be something? You'd expect stars but get normal everyday people with amazing voices.
