Ahmadinejad: U.S. Can't Do "Damn Thing" on Nukes

Iran's hard-line president on Wednesday ridiculed President Barack Obama's new nuclear strategy, which turns the U.S. focus away from the Cold War threats and instead aims to stop the spread of atomic weapons to rogue states or terrorists.

Mr. Obama on Tuesday announced the new strategy, including a vow not to use nuclear weapons against countries that do not have them. Iran, however, was a notable exception to that pledge, along with North Korea, because Washington accuses them of not cooperating with the international community on nonproliferation standards.

Concerns over Iran's nuclear program figure prominently in the new U.S. strategy. U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the focus would now be on terror groups such as al Qaeda as well as North Korea's nuclear buildup and Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad derided Mr. Obama over the plan in a speech Wednesday to a crowd of thousands in the country's northwest.

"American materialist politicians, whenever they are beaten by logic, immediately put their finger on the trigger like cowboys," he said.

"Mr. Obama, you are a newcomer (to politics). Wait until your sweat dries and get some experience. Be careful not to read just any paper put in front of you or repeat any statement recommended," Ahmadinejad said in the speech, aired live on state TV. "(American officials) bigger than you, more bullying than you, couldn't do a damn thing, let alone you."

The United States and its allies accuse Tehran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, a charge denied by Iran, which says its nuclear program is intended only to generate electricity.

Washington is heading a push for the United Nations to impose new sanction on Iran over its refusal to suspect uranium enrichment, a process that can produce either fuel for a reactor or the material for a warhead. Iran says it has a right to enrichment under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

Here are what barack can learn from this experience, if he can put aside his arrogance.
Lesson no.1: In the world stage, no one will give you the respect if you are weak!
Lesson no.2: Save your bs for your worshipers, mahmoud is a psychopath. Your teleprompter is not going to help.
Lesson no. 3: Continually weaken our country and demoralizing our armed forces is not the right way to go.
Lesson no. 4: mahmoud is right about one thing, you should get some experience. Your naivete is putting all of us in danger.

IDEOLOGICALLY ALONE, IRAN POSES A MAJOR THREAT TO FREE WORLD'S WAY OF LIFE

It's no surprise that Iran's stated objective is to spread and impose strict Islamic Law(Sharia) onto all the world's people.

The terrorist acts that Iran supports all over the planet, is only a small sample of what is to come.

Imagine the threat posed by a nuclear-backed Iranian regime.
Now imagine a religiously fanatical, militaristic, nuclear-backed, with delusions of power, domination and conquest, Iranian regime.
Now, add such regime believing it is its holy religious duty to bring on The Apocalypse via nuclear World War III, to "usher in" the Mahdi's or the Moslem Messiah's arrival.

People, "We have a problem."

Should we do nothing and just wait like sitting ducks,
until the dreaded, end-of-world scenario is upon us?

The current Iranian regime cannot be trusted, and all measures MUST be taken to prevent that regime from producing or acquiring nuclear weapons!

Regardless, if Israel attacks Iran, they had best go around the Iraqi airspace we control, or we'll look implicit. We've already taken enough heat for Israel's tantrums.
___________

They would use air space we control, including over Iraq....they don't have the long range bombers (ie: B1-B, B2, B52) to go around, and Turkey certainly wouldn't allow it....in addition, any attack would have our full support, for refueling of their attack aircraft, etc, maybe even our cruise missles.....we definitely would be implicated either way, helping or not.

But, I've heard that the Israeli border has the best anti-ballistic missle defense system U.S. money can buy....(Hawk, Patriot systems etc.)

Are you crazy, China wouldn't attack us over Iran and if they did it would be their suicide. thay are years from considering anything like that. you give them too much credit.
\__________

sorry, if you got confused.....the discussion was about our use of GPS weapons, over laser guided weapons....and I was talking about in the far future, if we ever engaged with China, our "over-reliance" on GPS guidance, could be compromised by China destroying our GPS satellites.

I didn't mean to suggest USA and China were headed for war anytime soon, I was just pointing out the vulnerability of GPS weapons, they don't function correctly, if the Satellites in the GP system are not working because of a strike.

And China or Russia would in turn turn them to dust. I think Israel's stupid, but not THAT stupid.
____________

Come on, slownews....you have to think harder then that.....Why would Russia or China "attack" Israel with nuclear or conventional weapons, if they struck the Iranian nuclear facilities ?

Are you saying Iran is a satellite state of Russia and/or China ? and an attack on Iran, is equivalent to an attack on the Russia homeland ?!?!?!?!

They weren't attacked directly, only their "customer" was....Iran

Kim Jung Il saber rattles, but Ahmadinejad has a dream.

He envisions himself at the helm of a nuclear-armed federation of islamic nations with Jerusalem as their capital. United, they will force the world under sharia.

Of course, he'll have to obliterate Israel, most of Europe and the U.S. to accomplish it, but he's crazy enough to push the button.

Mr. Obama's nuclear disarmament strategy is just not a good idea right now.

He maybe right. He should be more worried about Israel.

They could turn his nuke program to dust real quick and I don't think the US can stop them.
