Sandra Bullock Marriage on Rocks?

(CBS)  Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock's marriage is apparently in trouble.

People magazine reports that, just eight days after taking home the Oscar for her hit movie, "The Blind Side," Bullock moved out of the Los Angeles home she shared with her husband of five years, reality TV star Jesse James.

Bullock and James -- who looked like a very close and happy couple at the awards ceremony -- were married in July 2005.

But In Touch magazine reports that, while Bullock was filming "Blind Side" in Atlanta, James was having an affair with tattoo model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee in L.A.

McGee, a mother of two, told In Touch, "I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man. He gave me the impression they were separated."

She even claimed to have a pet name for James - "Vanilla Gorilla" - because of his physical gifts.

On Wednesday, Bullock pulled out of the London "Blind Side" premiere, saying in a statement, "Due to unforeseen personal reasons, a trip abroad to support "The Blind Side" has been deemed impossible at this time."

Bullock and James have been involved in a long custody battle with James' ex-wife, former porn star Janine Lindemulder.

If the supposed split becomes permanent, Bullock would join a long list of actresses struck by what's called the "Oscar curse" -- relationships that have broken up shortly after winning Best Actress honors.

Among them: Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts and Kate Winslet.

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder then why is this person commenting on their looks. Which one is it. I find people that cheat or participate in it ugly. Sandy has never been someone to attract attention for her personal life and I feel sorry that the media thinks this is an issue that needs to be aired to the world. Hasn't anyone learned from the past media blitz over Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and the last blitz over Tiger Woods? We don't need to know people's private personal life story. Give her some room to go through whatever she needs to go through. I know she will land on her feet as she isn't someone who enjoys drama and we've never known about any of her other relationships/breakups.

This is another story of why good girls like bad trashy guy's. She should have known his character when she found out that his first wife was a porn star. I agree with marine1957, trashy men like trashy women, some men grow up and change but most of them don't, perfect example. Decent women need to be more cautious when choosing a spouse especially when they have a trashy trifling past like this bum that Sandra married.

Sandy, I feel so bad for you, girl. Try and remember that going for the "bad boy image" is not a good thing to do. Know full well that the dog returns to its vomit. As my dad taught my brother and I when we were teens, if you run with a skunk, you'll smell like a skunk.
Sandy, I think you are one of the best actresses in Hollywood. I really enjoyed "love Potion #9" and especially "A Time to Kill." And no one but you could be our "Miss Congeniality"!!

marine1957, I totally agree with everything you said. I have loved Sandy since Love Potion #9 as well and have probably seen every one of her films except Blind Side. When she married Jesse, I had my doubts, but when I've seen them together there seemed to be a real close relationship between them and she was so happy. Her Oscar speech made me cry.
I loved your last paragraph and you are right - she is our Miss Congeniality" and I would love to tell her face-to-face how badly I feel and give her a big hug.

Some thoughts about this. There have been many such situations in the new, and they all have some common denominators: they're all men who gone with sexier women. What is it about men that makes them engage in infidelity?
Indeed, what is it about men that makes them the cause of most of the world's problems, in general: starting wars, crime (95% of criminals are male, just look at the prisons), business greed, etc. No wonder the feminists are having a field day . . .
