LeBeouf in GQ: Douglas is an "Open Wound"

(CBS)  In a revealing interview to GQ Magazine, Wall Street sequel star Shia LaBeouf says co-star Michael Douglas was "an open wound on the set."

"That dude is in pain," he told GQ Magazine for an April cover story. "He was emotional putty on the set. A struggling man. We filmed a struggling man."

Douglas' son, Cameron Douglas, faces up to 10 years in prison for selling meth when he faces a judge in April.

With some hesitation, LaBeouf also talked about his romantic relationship with actress Carey Mulligan.

"I just don't want to f*** around," he told the magazine. "She's an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I've ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds. Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out."

LaBeouf also tackled his widely publicized car crash in which he lost several fingers. "I got hit. I had a green. This f***er ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand. And my fingers are in the street," he told GQ and expressed anger at Kim Kardashian's sister (he didn't say which) for chastising him from the red carpet.

She would "preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my fucking life. And I'm so upset, man. I'm so angry," he said. "Because this accident was not caused by me."

As for being directed by Oliver Stone, LeBeouf said the Oscar-winning director, who also created the original Wall Street film, would tell him to get drunk at a bar across the street from the set hoping he would come back with anger and intensity. "He would just open you up completely, make you f***ing naked-and then call, 'Action.'"

Wall Street Money Never Sleeps is scheduled to be released in September, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
