U.K. Boy, 5, Found after Pakistan Kidnap

(CBS/AP)  A 5-year-old British boy kidnapped from his family's home in Pakistan has been found in good health, Pakistani officials said Thursday.

British officials said Sahil Saeed was snatched from his grandmother's house in Pakistan's Jehlum city last week after robbers held the family at gunpoint for several hours.

On Thursday Pakistani High Commissioner Wajid Hasan told The Associated Press that Sahil had been found. He did not give any details, saying he just learned of the development.

CBS News' British partner network Sky News first reported Thursday morning that Saeed had been found in Pakistan's Punjab province, quoting a senior Pakistani law enforcement official.

According to Sky's report, Pakistan's law minister said the boy was recovered on Wednesday "in very good health".

Sky's Asia correspondent Alex Crawford reported that Pakistani officials had made a number of arrests in the case, possibly including some members of Saeed's extended family. One of those arrested was said to be a woman.

It was not immediately clear whether Saeed and his father, who also lives in England, were still in Pakistan.
