Arnold: Give Obama a Break!
Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose last term as California governor runs out at the end of the year, had some words of support for President Obama from across the aisle.
On "The Early Show" Thursday, Schwarzenegger said, "I think that the bottom line is this is a very difficult job today to a leader, because of the world economy being down. No matter where you pick up news papers ... it's all the same headlines - that it's a disaster, the economy is down, money is not available, the banking system is a problem. People are losing jobs and people are hating the politicians."
In an interview with co-anchor Harry Smith, Schwarzenegger continued, "Remember, with health care reform, Teddy Roosevelt talked about health reform in 1912. So, that's 100 years ago. And since then, no one was able to do it, and now (Mr.) Obama is another president giving it a stab and trying to get it done. It could work. I mean, you have to give him credit for taking the risk. You have to give any leader credit for always going out on a limb and to go and fight for something. It may not work out, but in the end, you have to try."
Asked whether there's still room for moderates in a GOP that seems to be increasingly right-leaning Schwarzenegger aluded to the Democratic cry that his is "The Party of No." He replied, "I think that there are great leaders in the Republican Party and I think that the key thing is to always, when you're the minority party, that you have good solutions, so the people can see what the majority party has to offer and what then the minority party has to offer. So to me, the most important thing is you always have great solutions, not just say no, but have great solutions and have a whole menu of things of what you would do if you were in power."

You need to remember why you were elected to office.
Get some cahones or get out!
Tax cuts for the rich
Tax cuts for big corporations

Deregulate everything
He was relatively unsuccessful as Governor, however to his credit, he took office at the worst of times, when California was victimized by Texan and mafiosi energy providers that took a decade to complete.
Texas has laws against purchasing energy from outside the state. I say that is unconstitutional, or if it is, then California should do the same.
Furthermore, of all the states, California is the only state that does not tax the oil from the wells there. Why? Because it the mafia way.
Another issue I have is the fact that the pay rate for prison guards have increased at a rate well beyond reason. In 1979, guards were paid less than $19,000 yearly with many less prisoners. Today, the average pay is $144,000 and they have increased prisoners by the hundreds of thousands (thanks to 3 strikes) and numerous laws that give out life sentances for less than murder. That is not only ridicules, it should be crushed, but instead the governor turned to the teachers in California, calling them special interests, he turned to the nurses, who he called special interests....he even turned against his own state employees and forced illegal wage decreases and forced time off...which was recently declared unconstitutional as the state controller has always stated.
Califoooonia is toast, not because of ballot initiatives, bad weather, the recession, or anything you have done since you took office.
If you had a single ball or a micro-slice of courage that wasn't cowed by Maria, the Kennedy's, or the COUNTRY CLUB A&&HOLE traitor wing of the REPUBLICAN party (the part with the Bushes and McSwine), you would tell the truth:
It's the stupid Progressive insanity magnified by La ReConquista of what - 4 or 5 million effing illegal thieves, drug dealers, and walking baby factories that have killed the golden state.
If you banned illegals from your hospitals and schools and turned your border into the armed camp it needs to be...and rounded up and incarcerated your criminally insane like Nancy Pelosi, California would be the 2nd largest economy on Earth - right after the rest of the United States.
Until California employs Darwin in earnest it has no chance at survival - same as the rest of the country.
From what I read in these comments, all the right wing radical loonies are soiling their pants and scratching their pimples silly over the truth.
Now you all knew that Arnold was a Republican in Name Only, when he got elected. So this should not supprize anyone. He did marry into the Kennedy family remember. He has become the poster boy for the left wing controled government bodies in CA. He's co-opt'ed himself and all the ideals that gave him the presence and money to run for the office of Governor. He has lost his way in the California political bubble. Pray for him and his famliy. Guide him back to his roots as a center right American. Follow the footsteps you started when you came to this country Arnold. That is what made you great! Not this dribble you are not espousing on the main stream media.
