Palin Sister-in-Law Cuts Plea for Burglary

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's sister-in-law has reached a plea deal with prosecutors in a burglary case.

The Anchorage Daily News reports that Diana Palin, the 35-year-old half sister of the governor's husband, Todd, was sentenced last week to 15 months in prison. She already has served five months and will complete the sentence at a drug rehab center.

Prosecutors say she burglarized the same Wasilla house three times to steal money for a drug habit. She was arrested April 2 after the owner of the home confronted her.

Live from Wasilla, it's the Jerry Springer Show. Once again showing us all how to run for president with lots of clutter in your closets. In response to the comment about 4 out of 12 headlines belonging to the Palin family. This is a govenor that quit under pressure of one state government. What makes anyone believe this person can work with a national gov.. Somehow I think the belief is, once you are president ya getta make up the rules as ya go along...wink wink.
It ain't no silk purse.

Who cares! Every one of us has family members who are drug addicts and who have commited crimes to get money to support their addictions. This in NO WAY reflects on Sarah or Todd Palin and it's not their fault! They are not responsible for whatever Todd's adult half-sister does!

Sarah Palin called out Rahm Emanuel for his nasty 'retarded' comment. This is nothing more than thuggish Chicago style pay-back.

CBS has at least 3 negative blogs posted about Sarah Palin at this site. Coincidence. Riiiight.

One day soon, everyone will find out that Mr. Obama is not what he appears to be. The truth will out.

I heard that Palin's cousin's daughter's ex-boyfriend's former-maid's sister's teacher's doctor's nephew was just ticketed for jay-walking. I eagerly await the CBS breaking news bulletin.

Does CBS not have anything else to report? Who cares??? My 18 year old neice was abused by her boyfriend and he went to jail. It wasn't on CBS!! Nobody really cares about Sarah Palin's husband's 1/2 sister! Find something else, CBS!

You shouldn't have read the story then. You have eyes and a mouse to control what stories you read. Those readers who have friends and family with addictions may find value in a story like this.

A cry for help so often goes unoticed. Another destroyer of ones soul. Not a good thing to be in the news for. While I am definately not a Palin fan, I do sympathise for those who have an addiction. There is help and that is our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
