Report: Tiger Woods Leaves Rehab with Elin

CBSNews

(CBS)  Tiger Woods is leaving a Mississippi rehab center where he reportedly underwent treatment for sexual addiction and his wife, Elin, has joined him from the trip home, according to a report on RadarOnline.com.

Woods' marriage has been the focus of intense media speculation following revelations of infidelity that emerged after a bizarre car accident at Thanksgiving. The golfer has been linked with at least 14 women, though he has not publicly addressed the allegations other than to apologize for "transgressions" in a written statement.

According to the RadarOnline report, Elin Woods flew to Hattiesburg, Miss., Monday to join her husband, who attended group and individual counseling at the rehab center. Despite speculation that she would pursue a divorce, Elin Woods is reportedly prepared to give Woods a second chance. The couple has two children together.

I wish them the best. This seems like some sort of mental illness for him. She has much courage.

She dumped the divorce lawyer so they are getting back together. I hope he doesn't blow it. She's a beautiful wife and as are their two children. Grow up Tiger, appreciate what you have.

The two idiots deserve each other. I just hope we don't have to hear anymore about their marital woes.

I think it would be great to see a Tiger comeback. At least he has admitted that he has a problem. All of us have personal problems and failings. Let us not be so quick to judge others. Go Tiger!

I've never heard him admit that he had a sex addiction problem.

Going to rehab for sex addiction doesn't mean that he actually admits to having a problem. He's a celebrity and he will do whatever just to get everyone off his back. He will do it to get his wife to forgive him. And he needs that to make himself look better. Right now he looks like the PIG he is. I'm not sure that there is anything that can make him look better.

How can a person who has had UNPROTECTED sex with a zillion women, taking the chance that he could take a deadly disease home to his wife and children, be forgiven?

Being immoral isn't an addiction. It is a major flaw in one's character. Elin has the right to make her own decisions, regarding what to do. How is this our business? One comment said: They made it our business by their lifestyle. How stupid. Elin didn't live in such a way, that she wanted to be in the media, with her private matters. In fact nor did Tiger. Whatever the conclusion is... It is their lives, not mine, not yours, nor the media's. Such horrible beings some are. The media is having a ball. At the expense of who?

YOU are a fool! Elin certainly did live that way! Prior to marrying one of the world's most famous sports figures, she was a model, a career that literally requires people to LOOK AT HER. And "jane eyre". Really??

Gee, how thoughtful some of you 'posters' are! You seem to know everything, don't you? Aren't some of you 'good' Christians who were taught to forgive ("judge not lest ye be judged")? OK, granted, what he did was 'sinful' but IT'S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS! If they want to work on their marriage and stay together, I think it's fantastic - but that's NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!

I wish nothing but the best for Tiger, Elin and their kids. And for all the naysayers: MYOB!!!! Good luck to the Woods' family.

I LOVE your attitude makemyday2day. I completely agree and this makes me have the HIGHEST respect and admiration for Elin. That's what committment is all about in a marriage. Although she certainly, if all the gossip is true, had Biblical grounds for divorcing Tiger, she has turned the other cheek and given him a second chance. I hope he appreciates what he has in his wife. If he ever strays again, that's a different story, but for now God Bless her and honor her for honoring her marriage vows, even when he didn't, and being willing to go the second mile. She's got more character than any woman I've ever known except my own sister-in-law, and that case wasn't one of sexual indiscrimination but of mental illness...that she found out about AFTER she was married, and decided to stick with it anyway. God bless her and Tiger too and I pray that this second chance will work and that this family will pray together and stay together. There IS hope if he is willing to do the right thing from now on.

Of course its our business. Their lifestyle made it our business. If you choose to live in the public eye than learn to live with the scrutiny that goes with it. He doesn't get to pick and choose what he gets "famous" for. He can't decide he wants wordly accolades and very public sponsorships, on TV in magazines, newspapers, cereal boxes, etc., but then expect privacy when he screws up. It doesn't work like that. Not because I say so, but thats life.

I hope Elin doesn't set herself up for more heartache in the future.
4 weeks at a clinic does nothing!
He is a womanizer and there is no cure for that

I don't believe for one minute that he will change. He only went to the clinic because he felt it was necessary, to get everyone off his back. 4 weeks is definitely not enough time.

His only goal is to make this all go away as fast as possible, so he can get back out there and play with his little balls.

Yeah, right. The world needs a whole lot LESS of men like you. I'm sure glad I'm not married to you. I hope your wife is checking on your whereabouts every minute of every day and creates a 'burning bed' when she catches you...and don't kid yourself, YOU WILL get caught.

I heard they have to sign a contract that they will not masturbate while in therapy (not joking). My question is how many of them use the contract as a *** rag within 30 seconds of getting out?
