Best and Worst Grammy Moments

What were some of the best -- and worst -- moments of Grammy night 2010?

To "Early Show" Special Correspondent Damien Fahey the best performance was Pink's. The star, drenched with water, spun high above the crowd as she sang the haunting song, "Glitter in the Air."

Fahey said the performance was reminiscent of her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"It was just absolutely incredible," he said of her Grammy show.

He added that a few celebrities told him Pink got them wet as she flew over the audience.

"They loved it. They were having a great time," he said. "They were totally impressed. I think they were just caught up in the moment."
Pink received a standing ovation.

Another great moment, Fahey said, was the emotional tribute to Michael Jackson.

"By no means am I a Celine Dion fan," he said, "but I think her voice just sounded great. She really impressed me."

Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, and Smokey Robinson also performed in the tribute.

"His kids come up on stage and give that message of my dad's music was all about love," Fahey recalled. "I just thought that was, I thought there was a lot of love in the air, actually."

However, not everyone sounded so great on Grammy night.

Fahey said the duo performance of Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks sounded good on paper, but didn't pan out so well on awards night.

The star power, Fahey said, was there, but the vocals, he said, "fell a little flat," and didn't have the punch that was expected.

I wish that the award shows would take a stand and stop allowing these "artist" come there and show us the viewer their behinds, literally! The Virus(lil wayne) and drake were the worst part of the show for this very reason. When it comes to Beyonce, Mary J, and Taylor I don't ever expect good vocal performances because these days it's not about talent but about who you know.

I agree Beyonce was absolutely horrible. Who arranged for her to performed ALANIS. Honey you have the booty but not the vocals. I mean some of the performances were absolute garbage, truly a challenge to listen to. Taylor was indeed a dissappointment. And Rhiana not even able to give an acceptance speech. Some of my favorite performances were Green Day, Andrea ,(Now that is vocal talent) equeally enjoyable to me was Celine Dion, another gifted performer, but to put her up with Usher. he is so not in her category. I could go on. But please Grammy organizer be ware that fans deserve more class and talent.

I agree; Nicks looked bored to death to be performing with the excessively bubbly Swift. Swift seemed oblivious to the awkwardness. Also Pink was fantastic. Beyonce was horrible. She butchered Morrisette's wonderful 1996 Grammy winning song. She was absolutely horrific, and to win an award for the hoodrat anthem put a ring on it/single ladies. Should have been called Single hoodrats or Single ghetto chicks.
