Report: Woman Claims Tiger Woods Sex Tape

An unidentified woman is trying to sell what she claims is a Tiger Woods sex tape, reports TMZ.com.

According to the report, Vivid Entertainment head Steven Hirsch says a woman approached him in late December claiming to have a tape of the scandal-plagued golfer.

Hirsch said people at his company have seen 30 seconds of the video but he would not confirm whether it showed Woods. He said he's still trying to identify the people on the tape.

As the report notes, even if the tape were authentic, its release would likely be subject to legal challenges.

Woods has remained largely secluded as numerous allegations about the golfer's adulterous behavior surfaced following a November car accident. Speculation still churns as to whether his marriage with Elin Nordegren, who was seen outside the couple's Florida home last weekend after returning from a ski trip in France with their two children, will survive.

Meanwhile, Woods continues to get unwanted exposure - literally. Next week's edition of Vanity Fair will feature bare-chested photos of the golfer taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz in 2006.

Money is the name of the game when it comes to news reporting. What is reported is based on what will sell to any particulat news media's following. Do you think if there were other pro golfers having a scandle right now the media would report it at the risk of breaking pro golf for ever? No way. The same goes with political news, the media reports what they think will sell the most advertising and spin it to their followers be it liberal or conservitive and that's it. Honest juornalism in this country is dead. It's all bought , paid for and then run through filters by the media to insure the best dollar they can make.

Vivid would pay good money for an appearance by Tiger Woods in a production. He could make the next great anti-war x-rated film for his people in Washington DC.

Vanity Fair will no doubt argue that it is "just business". Funny how 4 year old photos were apparently worthless up until now. Or were they previously published by Vanity, making the action even more sleazy?

I, in no way condone what Tiger did. But this makes Vanity Fair look bad in my opinion.
