Iowa Rep. Predicts Palin White House Bid

By
CBSNews
(AP)  An Iowa Republican congressman says he thinks former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will seek the GOP presidential nomination in 2012 and that she's among a few people who could win the state's leadoff caucuses.

U.S. Rep. Steve King said Tuesday he initially thought Palin ended her political career when she resigned as governor last summer. But he said during a taping of an Iowa Public Television show that she's now in a far stronger position to succeed.

King says her book-signing tour has brought her enormous attention, and he complimented her political instincts.

Palin has only been in Iowa once since the election, for a book-signing event in Sioux City.

King says there would be plenty of time for Palin to mount a campaign.

Has anyone ever wondered what Bush's presidency would have been like if he were even more stupid and incompetent? Anyone who thinks Sarah Palin is in ANY way qualified, or ever will be, to be president, that person is as clueless as their precious Palin. These are the same people who defended Palin for not being able to answer the simple question of what newspapers do you read.

Dear Sirs,
When Walter Mondale challenged Reagan he, at least, could point to the fact that bshe already held the post of vice president.
Both McCain and Palin lost to the team of Obama and Biden.
Why does Palin think that she is more qualified than McCain was in opposing Obama?
