Sign Over Auschwitz Gate Stolen

(AP)  Polish police say the infamous iron sign over the gate to the Auschwitz memorial site with the cynical phrase "Arbeit Macht Frei" - German for "Work Sets You Free" - has been stolen.

Police spokeswoman Katarzyna Padlo said police believe it was stolen between 3:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. Friday, when museum guards noticed that it was missing and alerted police.

Padlo says the iron sign, which spanned a gate at the main entrance to the former Nazi death camp in southern Poland, was removed by being unscrewed on one side and pulled off on the other.

She says police have launched an intensive search. She says there are currently no suspects but police are pursuing several theories.

You claim you are not afraid, but you still don't directly answer the questions I posed about the statements. Perhaps if I condense them you might be able to attempt.

1. Why is it only allowed to be accepted that Jews were the victims of the holocaust, when the number of non-Jewish victims is almost twice the number of Jews? You have no answer to this point.

2. Why should Palestinians pay for what the Nazis did? (in this case your attempt at answer is invalid, you posit that people who had nothing to do with the holocaust, i.e. modern Palestinians, be made to suffer because they share a common religion with some people who sympathized with the anti-Jewish agenda. Using your logic, you should be made to pay with your life, or at least self-determination, for the actions of Tim McVeigh, John Wayne Gacy, or Ted Bundy, simply because you share a religion.)

3. It is true that anyone not in conformity with the view that the holocaust is a uniquely Jewish tragedy, can indeed, under German law, be jailed for voicing contrary opinion. You have no answer to this point.

4. Elie Wiesel, and other Jewish groups, claim that the word Holocaust refers only to their version of the tragedy, which excludes any non-Jewish people, when in fact the word existed long before WW2, and was taken from the ancient Greek word for "burnt sacrifice". You have no answer to this point either.

5. Ahmadinejad exposes a somewhat atheistic notion when he calls out the European diaspora's claim of what is now Israel, saying it is based on myth.

Any atheist would actually agree, the notion that a "god" gave the land to a people who had to commit genocide against the former inhabitants in order to take "possession", is ridiculous on its face, and is absolutely based on the myth that is the core of all 3 Abrahamic religions, Islam, Hebrew, and Christian. You also have no answer to this point.

So for a person who claims not to be afraid to answer the questions, you typed a lot of words, but still did not answer any of them with any credible logic.

What, you don't think Israel torturing and killing civilians with white phosphorus is relevant? Tsk tsk.

Definitely the act of a Tea Party organizer in search of a new poster. What is the difference between a Tea Party organizer and a community organizer? See if you can find the words apart and unity.

This is definitely a case where the words on the sign will have an opposite effect. The "work" required to take the sign, may have just caused the person or persons who took it to lose their freedom.....

Of course, since the sign was a lie in a psy-ops campaign by the Nazis, it is actually having it's effect.

My honest opinion is, this is something that the Iranian nutcase Amenajhad would do. If it was going to be done by a neo-Nazi organization, why did it take them 60+ years to do it? Why didn't all the other historical revisionists who deny the holocaust do it?
I think Poland has to look beyond their borders for answers. I have a great suspicion this was done by revisionists who would like to destroy all the evidence of the holocaust so they can assert it never happened. But at the TOP of MY list, is that bastard Amenajhad - even the Iranian people know he is a nutcase two-bit tin-horn dictator
like his pal in Venezuela...only this time, we have a nuclear tipped nutcase two-bit tin-horned dictator who is crazy enough to use the bomb when he gets it. But first, he has to put on a show, to discredit reality...he isn't even living in reality. No, Poland needs to take a good hard look at foreigners for the theft of the sign...probably came from a nutcase Islamic nation.

You might indeed call him a "nutcase", but he does pose some interesting questions everyone seems afraid to answer.

I examined the quotes that are said to be denial of the holocaust, and something entirely different shows itself, if one is totally objective when reading them, check it out,

M.A: "They have created a myth today that they call the massacre of Jews and they consider it a principle above God, religions and the prophets."

Shouldn't the definition of the Holocaust also include the Nazis' systematic murder of millions of people in other groups, including ethnic Poles, the Romani, Soviet civilians, Soviet prisoners of war, people with disabilities, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other political and religious opponents?

By this definition, the total number of Holocaust victims would be at most 17 million people.

"Inclusion of non-Jewish victims of the Nazis in the Holocaust is objected to by many persons including Elie Wiesel, and by organizations such as Yad Vashem established to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. They say that the word was originally meant to describe the extermination of the Jews,
..."

Which cannot be true, as it comes from ancient Greece, ("holókauston") and was used in English long before WW2.

"...there are two opinions on this in Europe. One group of scholars or persons, most of them politically motivated, say the Holocaust occurred. Then there is the group of scholars who represent the opposite position and have therefore been imprisoned for the most part."

Regardless of motivation, it is true that under current German law, people are jailed for non-conformity on this issue.

"the pretext for establishing the Zionist regime is a lie, a lie which relies on an unreliable claim, a mythical claim, (as) the occupation of Palestine has nothing to do with the Holocaust"

You must admit there is a very valid point here, the Nazis committed the crime, not the Palestinians.

"If the Europeans are telling the truth in their claim that they have killed six million Jews in the Holocaust during the World War II ? which seems they are right in their claim because they insist on it and arrest and imprison those who oppose it, why the Palestinian nation should pay for the crime. Why have they come to the very heart of the Islamic world and are committing crimes against the dear Palestine using their bombs, rockets, missiles and sanctions?"

Now this is the most important point no one seems to be able to answer.

In none of the quotes does it specifically deny that Germans murdered Jews, but simply questions the exclusion of other victimized groups, and the use of it as justification for the similar crimes being committed against the Palestinian Semites.

A regime of baboons like the Third Reich practiced genocide on its own race of people. Most of the Jews and Poles who died there were one-half German. Hitler refered to his fascist movement as ho'mo-superior. The concentration camps only served to loot the population of money and jewels.

Maybe some country stole it that plans on building a huge "work camp" to deal with a huge number of unemployed workers that just are not needed any longer.
In tracking this country down it would be important to see if there is a nation that goes around invading countries like Hitler did and seems intent on controlling all countries. The people running this country would say they are above all laws. Do you wonder which nation this could be? Wow, this is really hard...LOL.

Since Israel can hold its own and defend itself, there is no reason we need to send them any money, nor give them any aid at all. They don't deserve it, anyway.

I'm proud they can stand on their own, and think they should start doing so. Now.
