Meds Involved in Tiger Woods Accident?

By
CBSNews
(CBS)  The solid wall of privacy that once surrounded tiger woods continues to crumble, almost two weeks after the golf superstar crashed his car into a fire hydrant and tree near his Florida home -- an accident that quickly led to allegations of extramarital affairs.

The New York Daily News says at least seven women are now claiming to have had romantic relationships with Woods.

And the Web site The Daily Beast says there are indications prescription drugs may have contributed to his accident.

On "The Early Show" Monday, Gerald Posner, the site's chief investigative correspondent, told co-anchor Harry Smith, "Somebody familiar with Tiger's medical treatment, back at the end of 2007, right after he tore his ligament in his left knee, around the time of the British Open, to the end of the year, said that he was dosing with prescription pain killers, opiates, at a time that one doctor was concerned enough about potential addictive possibility that he had a person personal talk with Tiger to ramp down the dosing.

Will Tiger Woods lose some of his endorsements as a result of this incident and the way he handled it?
 Yes
 No
 Not sure
"And then at the time of the car accident, I spoke withdraw made trauma doctors who said when EMT (emergency medical technicians) arrived, what they should have found, you've hit a hydrant, you've smashed into a tree, the rear of your car's been broken with a golf club by your wife, you have lacerations on your face, what happens? Your adrenal glands pump out adrenalin. It shoves blood into your brain and your muscles, and you're hyper-vigilant. That happens whether you're 75 or 15 years old. For a 33-year-old world-class athlete like Tiger Woods, he should have been up and around, walking and very alert, with the adrenalin rush. ... (But) he (was found) laying on the grass, snoring. He fell asleep, which raises the questions for some doctors -- was he on sleep agents or possibly on pain medications that may have dulled him? And we can't find out, because the Florida Highway Patrol didn't do a breathalyzer, a blood test or a urine test that night."

Now we know why he play poorly at times. It's the boxer's motto, no woman before a fight. Then his name is Tiger and Wood.

I certainly do not condone cheating, no matter who it is but I do have to mention this . I was given Ambien for sleep and I had a number of incidents that happened that I had no memory of. On the medication, it states " can cause sleep walking, eating, driving and some people have been known to have sex withOUT any memory. The reason I mention this is the night he had the wreck, Ambien may very well have been the cause and that would be the reason he was sleeping on the ground right after.
I personally, ordered food, called people, organized items in my house, talk to my son a number of times and had NO MEMORY of any of this, on the Ambien. Just a heads up for Tiger and all of you that may take this medication

Overheard from humorist/orator GJ Johnson: 1) Just what kind of "golf club" has Tiger been using? 2) I've heard of Superman but this is ridiculous. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBy138OqYkU

Wife should have been charged with domestic violence and woody should have been tested for substances. Apparently laws don't apply to scumbags who have 6 bathrooms and 9 mistresses. Wesley Snipes attempted to evade Florida State Pigs on his motorcyle. He only had to claim he didn't realize he was being chased.......for THIRTY miles. Remember that next time you decide not to stop for cops.

Wesley Snipes was thrown from his motorcycle but not seriously injured after a trooper for the Highway Patrol in Florida said the actor led him on a 120-mph chase.

Snipes, who stars in such films as Demolition Man, Sugar Hill, and Rising Sun, was riding his motorcycle in Jupiter, FL, when he allegedly sped by the trooper and led him on a 30-mile chase that ended when Snipes lost control of his motorcycle as he tried to exit a highway offramp and was thrown off of it.

The 31-year-old actor refused medical treatment and was cited at the scene for reckless driving, A spokesman for Snipes told the Associated Press that "contrary to rumors of an intentional high-speed chase, Mr. Snipes was unaware of the patrol car trailing him."

I think you summarized it pretty well.....if you see the path of the vehicle (re-inactment), you can even see where he swerved exiting his driveway while she was smashing the windows with his money maker 9-iron

Good OLD justice in America (some things never seem to change). Justice for the Rich and Famous (no DUI tests or determination, go about your business). Justice for the average person, guilty, test, and large fine/arrest for the rest of us...

Try honesty for once.....I'm sure you are aware that there was insufficient evidence to force a test on Woods....They just don't jam a tester in your mouth, without any evidence or draw blood for no just cause....that was the case here, no justification such as odor, bottles, etc. which would have given them permission to test.
