(CBS)  Susan Boyle dreamed a dream - and she doesn't want that dream to end.

The Scottish singer has been wowing audiences since her appearance on "Britain's Got Talent" a few months ago, and now her debut album, "I Dreamed a Dream," is a top-seller in the U.K.

"I feel as if I don't want the dream to end," she told "Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith on Tuesday, after singing the album's title song.

"It must be gratifying," Smith said of her sudden success.

"It's quite humbling, really."

She has a georgeous voice and is a beautiful, humble person.

Yes she is!

Someone needs to kick that stupid Sharon Osbourne in the head a few times. I have always liked Sharon Osbourne, but now you couldn't pay me to watch anything that she is on. What she said about Susan Boyle was mean and nasty. It was inexcusable. I can't understand why someone would deliberately want to hurt a sweet soul, like her. I think everyone should SHUN Sharon Osbourne! She should be fired from Amerca's Got Talent! Come on, Simon, fix her clock!

Sharon Osbourne, Paris hilton, sarah palin did nothing with their lives except critize others who do. Why anyone would listen to these idiots who can't even raise their own children is beyond me.

I bought Susan's album on Tuesday and it is WONDERFUL. Absolutely one of my favorite CD's ever. She has a georgeous voice and is a beautiful, humble person. I used to sing when I was young, but never with the grace and beauty that Susan has. I hope her dream never ends.

OMG, Susan is the best thing to come out of 2009. I'm getting her new album just as soon as I get wheels to go to the store! No one is more deserving than this woman who made some of us ashamed in making snap judgements of her looks, as I did as well. I have never heard of a person singing just 4 words and becoming instantly famous. Rock on Susan, and may we all be blessed when we hear you sing. Long live your dream.

Enjoyed it very much! It's so fun to see her success after all the years of being hidden. Her voice is amazing.

Susan Boyle's performance on the Early Show did not disappoint. Wonderful rendition of her signature song, I Dreamed a Dream. It was masterfully delivered. Susan is such a master that each time she sings this song, it is created anew: a slight lingering or quickening of a note or word, the movement of her hands, the head movements, and her eyes. All these aspects Susan uses to make the song a living, changing piece of art. Susan appears to be so sensitive when receiving compliments, so humbled. The same sensitivity showed itself when Susan was receiving the quilt given her by loving fans, this past Monday. She was overcome with emotion when she was confronted with the sheer volume of love being poured out before her. Susan cried for a bit. Some in the media called this a meltdown. Meltdowns occur when you can't cry. When Harry Smith stated,"You must be gratified that so many people are in love with your music." Susan had to compose herself because she could have had tears with that statement. Susan we love you for your music, for your personality, for your fun loving spirit, for your sensitive nature, and for your love for your fans. Just keep going Susan, we are right behind you with our support.
