Father-Son "Race" Losers: We're Winners!
(CBS)
The homestretch is in sight for "The Amazing Race," with only four teams left.
After finishing last in a non-elimination round and being penalized with a speed bump, construction manager and mortgage broker Gary Tomljenovich, 47, and his college student son, Matt, 22, both from Montana, couldn't catch up to the other teams and were eliminated in Estonia in the latest episode.
But they say it all left them closer than they've ever been.

"It showed me that my dad accepts me for who I am," Matt told "Early Show Saturday Edition" co-anchor Chris Wragge. "And, growing up, I never got that. I always got the, 'What are you doing, why are you doing that?' And it's actually been nice to get that from him."
"So," asked Wragge, "the (Matt's ) pink hair and now the purple hair, he accepts all that now?"
"As much as it ever will, yeah!" laughed Gary. "We had a great time. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience for us."
Matt admitted he "didn't know what a candelabra was" at one point in the episode in which he and his father were given the boot. "My girlfriend, she was really upset with me. She's an English major and -- yeah, it was rough."
"It wasn't our demise, though," Gary said in defending Matt. "The speed bump was the demise. It wasn't the candelabra."
