(AP)  Model Joanna Krupa is leaving "Dancing With the Stars."

The Poland-born beauty was eliminated from the hit ABC show Tuesday.

She and professional partner Derek Hough consistently earned high scores on the hit ABC show. They collected an impressive 81 out of 90 points for their performances on Monday's episode, landing them in second place during the semifinals. But fans failed to keep the couple afloat with their votes.

Viewer votes are combined with judges' scores to determine which contestant is eliminated each week.

"It's been such an amazing experience," Krupa said after learning her fate. "I've grown as a person. Thank you for giving me the opportunity."

Head judge Len Goodman called Krupa and Hough "the most consistent of all of our couples" throughout the season. On Monday's episode, judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Krupa, "You truly are a dancer."

To close Tuesday's show, Krupa and Hough reprised the ethereal Viennese waltz that earned them 27 out of 30 points on Monday and inspired Inaba to say, "You took my breath away."

Tuesday's episode also featured a slew of musical performances. The surviving Bee Gees celebrated the band's 50th anniversary by performing the hit "You Should Be Dancing." Alicia Keys sang her single "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" from her new album, due in stores next month. Leona Lewis performed her latest song, "Happy," from her just-released album, "Echo." A team of professional dancers also performed a number from the forthcoming musical film "Nine."

A new "Dancing" champ will be crowned next week. Singer Mya, reality star Kelly Osbourne and entertainer Donny Osmond will be vying for the show's coveted mirrorball trophy.

The show has become a joke. The name of the show is dacing with the stars, not dancers dancing with dancers! They need to set some ground rules as far as the let on here. Mya is a dancer not that I care for Kelly but lets be fair! And Donny is a SINGER so for all you Donny bashers,it's not his fault Derek and Joanna got voted off! I agree 100% that they should still be in the compitation!
Pulling for Donny !!!

So much for the best dancer winning.
I love Mya, but Joanna is a fanastic dancer and her losing out to Donny Osmond is a joke.

She didn't lose out to Donnie. The final pick was between Joanna and Kelly. She lost to Kelly!!! That's worse in my opinion! Three will start out next week. Then the final two will do a dance-off. Who-ever is against Mya - Mya will kick their butt.

And the public being able to vote hundreds of times for one dancer makes them the best? Give me a break

I say, in order to ensure fair judgement, let the judges (experts) do
the judging only- not the public! In general, the public only voting for who they like- not the performance! I can't believed Donny would still be around, and Joanna & Derek are not! What a shame, if I were Donny, I would just give it up, and offered to quit, because that would be the fairest thing to do. Donny is not a dancer- he's a talker (not even good) with fan based! Of course there's politics anywhere- but it really SUCKS!

Dancing with the Stars has lost so much credibility by allowing Kelly Osborne to be in the final three. That is just abosolutely ridiculous.

It is also pathetic that Kelly does not have enough class to have stated I don't deserve to be in the final 3 and I'm with drawing to allow JoAnna to go foward. Just take a line out of Saturday Night Fever when John Travolta's character hands the trophy over to the other couple he thought should have won. That is what the producers of this show deserve to see happen!!!

The two best dancers on the show are Mya and JoAnna. Those are the two that should have been competing for the Trophy.

I'm not even watching the final. I'm done with show, it has become nothing but a joke.

I am truly disappointed in the results for this program. Derek and Joanna are by far the best choreographed dancers on the show. I know that a true competition would have been had Derek and Joanna squared off against Mya and Dimitri. (Wow, I actually watch the show for the dancing.) Donny Osmond could have held his own as well. This was Kelly's reward for all of her improvement on the show, but she is not of the caliber of dancer of the other three. If it was that close, then all four couples should have danced in the finals and given CBS something worthy of two hours instead of all of these fillers and commercials!! I agree that the judges should have more input in the final decision, as they are the professionals. Part of the problem is that they have hooked up with a sponsor that makes money off of every call and text made to the show that makes it a popularity contest instead of a talent contest. The idea is to get you texting so the sponsor makes money....they don't care who wins. For those that are fooled into believing that these reality contests are not rigged in some way in favor of the network sponsors and not the contestants...shame on us!

I totaly agree with all who think this is a wrong way to decide who is the winner ,It was very obvious from the start that even the judges were favouring Donny Osmaond and Kelly Osbourne a very unfair way to judge the dancers ,I and my whole office will not watch this show again ,unless there is a change in the judging system ,It stands to reason that those 2 would have more fans than the others ,so it was not their dancing that got them to the finals ... Bad show

People take it easy...as with any show where the general population votes...it is a "popularity" contest and you must admit that Kelly has turned out to be a very big surprise to us all...perhaps she isn't dancing better than the others she is showing great improvement and does deserve to be there...in general relax and don't get all worked up over tv...go read a book or take a walk if it bothers you...just enjoy your day!
