(CBS)  In "The Early Show"'s " Dave Price: To the Edge of the Earth" series, weather anchor and features reporter Dave Price will get the unique opportunity to fly aboard a U-2, a high-altitude intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance plane, at Beale Air Force Base in Roseville, Calif.

In the week-long series, Dave will experience the ins and outs of flying in the U-2, dubbed the "Dragon Lady." Dave will train all week for the demanding flight that requires a full space suit and oxygen because of the altitude.

When Dave and his pilot are up in the plane, they will be the highest people in the world -- besides the astronauts in the International Space Station. Dave will be on the edge of space, looking at the curvature of Earth.

Watch "The Early Show" all week to see Dave experience nearly everything a real U-2 pilot does, from getting a flight physical, to training, to finally flying in the U-2 -- including the takeoffs and landings!

But that's not all: Throughout the week Dave will tour the base and learn about the role of flight in American military history, among other activities on the base.

Tune in to "The Early Show" all week to find out how Dave takes on the challenges of this difficult, special flight at the "Edge of the Earth."

I am surprised that the news can not do the proper research, but Beale AFB, CA is in Marysville, CA not Roseville.
