The Grammy Award-winning band has released a steady stream of hits since "Meet Virginia" ten years ago. Now, the rockers are back with their fifth studio album, "Save Me, San Francisco."
The title pays homage to the place where Train's heart will always be, a place the band credits for its identity and foundation.
Train is made up of three members: vocalist Pat Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood, since 2003's platinum offering, "My Private Nation."
They performed their new single "Hey, Soul Sister" which has been going strong on the charts for ten weeks, along with their classic hit, "Drops of Jupiter."
"Hey, Soul Sister" transports faithful fans back to the "Drops of Jupiter" days, but at the same time has a friendly, Jason Mraz-like contemporary flair.
The "train" didn't stop in its tracks during their three year hiatus.
During the break, Monahan, also a solid songwriter, released his acclaimed solo album, titled "Last Of Seven," which featured the hit single "Her Eyes."
