Barclays pays $134 million to sponsor England's Premier League for another 3 years

(AP)  LONDON (AP) - Barclays PLC has agreed to pay $134.5 million to sponsor England's Premier League for another three years.

The financial services firm has had naming rights to the league since 2004. It will pay 25 percent more than it paid for the previous three-year deal that expires at the end of this season.

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore said Friday "the clubs unanimously accepted Barclays proposal."
