Bon Jovi to Open Giants-Jets Stadium

Bon Jovi will play the kickoff concert next spring at the new $1.6 billion stadium that will serve as the home for the Giants and Jets.
An official familiar with the plans for the new stadium spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to make the announcement.
The official announcement is expected Thursday.
Bon Jovi opened the Prudential Center in Newark last year with 10 concerts. The band's new album, The Circle, will be released next month. The group has sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans.
The concert first was reported by The Record in Hackensack, N.J.
