Woman Calls Police To Report Theft Of Pot Plants

(AP)  There are limits to being a crime victim, as a woman who called Saginaw County sheriff's deputies to report the theft of marijuana found out. Detective Sgt. Randy F. Pfau said the 54-year-old woman was arrested early Sunday after reporting two men had broken into her home in Brant Township, 80 miles north-northwest of Detroit.

Pfau said the woman told deputies the men fled after one of them demanded her marijuana plants. He said the woman then was booked on charges of manufacturing and delivering marijuana.

Pfau told The Saginaw News the woman claimed the drug was for personal use but didn't possess a medical marijuana card. He said police will seek charges pending test results on the marijuana they did confiscate.

just legalize it and give the alcohol pushers some competition. alcohol is way more toxic (to the individual as well as society) than pot, anyway.

They need to just legalize it for goodness sake. If ethanol and tobacco are legal substances then it's surely it's hypocritical to have pot be illegal isn't it?

Is it because it?s easily grown at home? Hey, wine is very easy to make too. Just crush up grapes and put the juice in a bottle for a few months. You don?t even need yeast as it naturally occurs on the grapes anyway.

Legalize it or make them all illegal (Note: They?ll never make them all illegal. It?s too big of a tax revenue to just toss).

Boy I guess it's kind of hard to roll up up a Blunt when somebody else has their hands on your goods.
May I see your license and registration and your medical marijuana card please?
