- We are seeing playoff baseball in mid October, the World Series maybe into November. The season has been extended in both games and time. Dropping double headers has taken the season into winter conditions. If you live in early season cold climate zones, you need to consider a high maintenance stadium such as those in Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Houston.
