Since 2006, Aliah Git has served as the Executive Editor for CBS Radio News, where she is responsible for morning drive operations. Prior to this position, Git was the morning drive copy editor, producing the morning newscasts with anchor Frank Settipani. She was a staff news writer for CBS Radio News from 2002-2004.
Git is the former Executive Producer for KLAC(AM)-Los Angeles where she produced the "Gil Gross Show." Before that, she was a producer of the "Bill Handel Show" at KFI-AM in Los Angeles. At KFI, she held the titles of News Editor and Assistant News Director. It was in these roles that she won several Mark Twain and Golden Mike awards for "Best Newscast."
Git is a graduate of the University of Southern California (go Trojans!) with a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.
She lives in New York City.
