(CBS)  Jon Gosselin, the star of a The Learning Channel (TLC) reality show formally known as "Jon & Kate Plus 8," told "Entertainment Tonight"'s Mary Hart he's ready to go to court.

Jon Gosselin Wants Kids Off TLC Show

Gosselin, Hart reported on "The Early Show", will tell his side of the story in a personal interview Friday night on "Entertainment Tonight. Gosselin will explain why he wants his children off television now. Gosselin and his now-estranged wife Kate Gosselin had filmed the series in their Pennsylvania home for two years.

Jon tells Hart in the interview the financial incentive of doing the show "doesn't matter."

He said when he spoke with Kate about continuing the show she cites financial considerations.

Jon told Hart, "I'm like, 'It doesn't matter.' At what price is it going to be for your kids? I mean, are you going to like sacrifice their childhood for a couple bucks?"

The couple, according to the Associated Press, has made a reportedly $1 million for appearing on the show.

However, he has recently posted a sign on the gates of his Pennsylvania home, demanding TLC producers and film crew not enter their property. Jon's lawyers have also ordered TLC to halt production on the show, which is now called "Kate Plus Eight."

TLC, Hart reported, said they have stopped "direct filming" of the children. Kate Gosselin says her priority's is her children's well being.

Hart pointed out to Gosselin his actions seem motivated by the fact he was taken off the show's title.

"I don't care about 'Jon & Kate Plus 8.' I don't care about TLC," he said. "I want my kids off television. The most important thing to me is getting my kids off television."

The entire interview with Hart will air Friday on "Entertainment Tonight." Check you local listings for times.

Well, It looks like it's coming to an end in the life of Jon and Kate's neverending battle. Kate will come out the victor because she has been truthful. I feel sad because in was so public. As I said before Kate is the one who has kept things together for the children. Jon is going to learn a terrible lesson from all this I hope. That lesson is you just can't keep being mean and get away with it.

Jon did it again. Now he is blaming TLC and the tabloids for breaking up his marriage. He just can't assume responsibility that he was the one who picked up and ran instead of trying to work things out. You think he would have tried harder to make amends with Kate because of all the children. He is so immuture about life. Jon can not blame anybody else for the terrible things he has done. I hope Kate and the children will have a wonderful future and I wish them the best.

I would like to say that I admire Kate for her stance and fortitude. She does put the children first because she has kept her reputation intacked through some pretty tough times. She said she wanted a better life for her children and I agree. Jon not only took her job away but also a better life for her children. I think filming three days a week for a couple of hours was not bad on the kids. In fact they benefited from it. Going to the beach, staying in a beautiful house, the dude ranch and learning to ride a horse, skiing, visiting many different places and doing hundreds of things. I bet they learned more on the show then they would in a class room. This is the life Jon took them from. If I were a kid I would just love it. It takes a lot of money to care for eight children and what a great way to do it. No matter what others may say Kate was giving them the best years of thier lives.

Jon has achieved nothing by getting his own way at his girls birthday party. He is such a conniving fool with everything he does. What in God's green earth does he think he's doing? He was trying to get Kate into trouble and made a big fool out of himself again. I got to hand it to Kate she sure is a power house of restraint. I can't wait tell it's all over and the dust settles and she comes out the victor.

Kate is smart and savvy--and if she's "broke", I'll eat my hat. There is money somewhere, and p[lenty of it, no doubt, and she would no more work at McDonalds than give up her bodyguard. And why, pray tell does she need one?! At book signings for heavens sake? She is NOT that big a deal! I find her cold and manipulating, althought articulate and capable of acting charming. Any one who watched their show knows what a sharp, nasty tongue she has--toward her husband as well as her children. This is NOT a warm and fuzzy person. Her own brother and sister-in-law have spoken against her publicly, and she is estranged from her own parents. She's consistently portrayed as a primadona when she makes appearances. Who likes her, anyway? Jon, on the other hand, is naive and inarticulate. He's also nicer, if not the most mature man around. He clearly loves his children, and they him. He was also clearly the primary caregiver, and the one the children preferred (and even said so.) Look at how happy they are with him, how affection he is with them (and they with him)--and how unsmiling they are with her, and how often they are in tears. Kate "plays to the crowd" better--she's got all those great lines, but Jon is the genuine article, whatever his flaws might be. I'm in his corner 100 percent.

And again Jon shows his true colors... what a creep. Every time I see him on Tv talking about how Kate this and Kate that, I cringe. I have no respect for him anymore. He is trying to ruin her completely but he doesnt realize that he his walking all over his bread and butter at the same time. You made it this far because of TLC you shmuck, how do you plan on feeding those kids without them??>> Good luck! Jerk!

I don't know what is worse, the fact that BOTH of them should have their kids taken away for exploiting them or the fact the the public have such pathetic lives that they have to watch a show about someone elses life.

I have never watched a "real life" TV show and never will. I can't remember which one was the first RL show, the real life, big brother? Whichever one it was opened a Pandoras Box of garbage. We are so pathetic that we have to watch other peoples train wrecks to make ourselves feel better? Think about all the RL TV shows out there. They are either about a group of people conniving against each other or some kind of freak show about families with obscene numbers of kids. I think there is one show out there about a family with 20 kids or so. What is the allure of watching these shows. There is a show about a family of dwarfs. I have nothing against dwarfs but again, what is the allure of this show?

I don't really say that anything I watch on TV is any better but I don't have to be a voyeur of other people lives to entertain myself. The bottom line is both Jon and Kate should go away and take the rest of reality TV with them.

Well.....guess we now know that it is Jon and NOT Kate that is all about the money! He made the statement with his lawyer that he is going to get a lot more income that he is supposedly deserving. He took their household funds to hire a lawyer that, from some allegations, appears to be shady in his ethics, and used the household accounts for that! Since Jon feels he is owed more than that, is he going to next steal funds from the kids' trust accounts???? Perhaps he needs to get rid of that New York apartment, his motorcycles, and other junk he has bought and live a bit more modestly in order to keep expenses down now since he will be required to pay child support since he made sure Kate does not have a job now thanks to him. I bet he feels realll good about himself huh? The creep.

Kate has been the good parent all along. I believe because of that she will prevail. Some day it will be pay back for Kate. A person just can't keep doing mean things and get away with it. I think many of us know that from experience. Jon , some day will have to answer to all wrong that he has been doing and there will be no mercy.

I feel sorry for Kate. Jon has done everything he could to hurt her. He says he wants to protect his children then what could he be thinking in having affairs with (many)women while still being married? Doesn't he know that this kind of behavior will hurt the children? And all the terrible things he said about Kate. It's to late to be sorry. Once it is said or done it can't be taken back. Kate is doing all the right things even in adversity. She had to be firm it's not easy raising eight kids all at one time. It's a huge undretaking. I hope that Kate and the children have a wonderful future on the show. She has taken a lot from Jon and nobody deserves what was done to her.
