First Swine Flu Vaccines to be Nasal Spray

Health officials say the first doses of swine flu vaccine will be the nasal spray version.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that about 3.4 million doses of nasal spray vaccine will be available the first week of October.

The government expects 195 million doses will be shipped out by the end of the year, most of them shots.

The nasal spray is approved for ages 2 to 49. It's not recommended for some of the people at most risk from severe swine flu complications. That includes pregnant women, children younger than 2, and people with asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases.

It looks like this vaccine is good in more than just possibly preventing the flu. Make sure you tell the rest of your paranoid brood. And stay home if you do get sick for chrissakes.

The vaccine is free but the cost to administer it is $50. Lovely!

@tincup356- I read that its going to be a compulsory vaccine, and you're going to have to get it before you can register as a Citizen. You and I both know its all a conspiracy and a scam to break down the populace into even more submissive sheople than they already are! The H1N1 nasal spray is really a highly potent mind-altering substance designed to corrupt the mind of our youth (nasal cavity is closer to the brain). As the prole toil away at their daily drudgery and comply with government scare tactics, we the enlightened few will rise up to expose this blatant abuse of government power! It's time to execute your contingency plan of abandoning society and becoming a gray operative!
