But when it comes to the trend must-haves for the fall, what's going to make this year's fall fashion different from the recent past?
Bergamotto said this season is about taking it back to the basics. She explained there is an "it" color (red), sleek fabrics (leather), and traditional prints (leopard). She added, even the silhouettes have adopted a simple structure, such as the sheath dress.
"Perhaps, given the current economy," she said, "designers are really bringing it back to the fashion fundamentals."
Additionally, there are a lot of updates on some fashion favorites, Bergamotto said. She said this season leather is getting a makeover.

"It's not just for bikers and rock stars anymore," she said.
She explained you can wear leather in a super sleek way, like Victoria Beckham, or with an edge akin to something "Transformers" star Megan Fox would wear.
Another slight alteration in the leopard print trend, she said, is that even though we've seen the classic print before--and that is still very much "on trend"-- we're now seeing things rendered in ocelot and lighter tones. So, she explained, patterns are black and white, instead of the traditional brown-yellow-black pattern.
