"Squeaky" Fromme to Be Released?

Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, the follower of Charles Manson who pointed a gun at President Gerald Ford, is set to be released from prison after 34 years, CNN is reporting.
Fromme, now 60, was in convicted in 1975 of waving a gun at Ford in Sacramento, Calif. According to CNN, Secret Service agents prevented her from firing, but the gun was later found to have no bullet in the chamber, although it contained a clip of ammunition.
But Fromme was equally well known for her loyalty to Manson.
She could be paroled from the Federal Medical Center in Carswell, Tex. as early as Aug. 16.
