Jackson Said Tour Preps Were "Killing" Him

Michael Jackson's personal chef says he told her the rigorous rehearsals for his upcoming London tour were "killing" him.
The chef, Kai Chase, said on "The Early Show" Friday that, even though the King of Pop "looked good," he mentioned that the rehearsals were taking a toll.
"This tour was very important for him," Chase told co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez. " ... He (took) me to the side and told me, 'You know, I really need you to make sure that I'm eating organic and healthy. I know you know what you're doing, and I know you know what to do. That's why you're here. They're killing me. They're killing me. I'm working so much. I'm rehearsing a lot.'

"But, you know, he -- it was just a lot. It was just a lot of rehearsing, and he needed those organic juices, fresh organic beet juice. He asked me, 'Do you have my beet juice? Do you have my beet juice? Do you have my organic green apple lemon ginger for energy?" '
Still, said Chase, "He was very excited about the 'This Is It Tour."
Chase said she'd "never seen any evidence of drug use" in Jackson's rented Los Angeles mansion.
She also said she was "very shocked" to learn Jackson hers was one of the aliases Jackson was using to get prescription drugs, and that Jackson never told her. "This is all news to me. It's unbelievable. It's very shocking," Chase said.
Chase also laid out the timeline of what happened in the mansion the day Jackson died, saying his physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, came downstairs an hour-and-a-half later than usual that day and, at one point, agiated, asked to speak to Jackson's son, Prince.
Murray has been described in court filings as the target of a police probe of possible manslaughter in Jackson's death.

The better question is why do some, in the face of uncontrovertible evidence, attempt to portray hard-core drug addicts as saints?
Having money doesn't make you more intelligent, granted. But making and throwing away a half-billion over 30 years sure makes you more stupid than the next.....
Most couldn't be that stupid if they tried.
I don't know. There are an awful lot of stupid Americans allowing those insurance companies to suck them dry of thousands of dollars. Actually the stupid ones are the ones that don't want a new health care system and are willing for it to continue the way it is, because they think the other system is C O M M U N I S M. Soooo, that has to be billions of dollars being thrown away. You can't get much more stupid than that.: )
Each and every person has their wastefulness and addictions. It can be shopping, food, cigarettes, whatever. And it's according to how much money you make.
Michael Jackson had lots of money. Some of it was wasted, and some of it went to many charities.
He wasn't manacled to a bed and force-fed drugs you twit.
CBS..please up the intelligence in the proofreading department. It seems to be getting worse.
"at one point, agiated"...
Over and over again, in story after story, CBSnews.com shows how terrible its proofreading is and how lax their editing is. My goodness, these are very obvious errors.
The man is dead. Gone. His children have lost their Daddy.
Show some damn respect or keep your foul mouths shut.
Why do people read an article about someone they are not interested in and then make malicious comments? I used to think it was because they were sad individuals with no lives who just wanted to spread hate. Now I believe they are more personally interested in paedophilia than Michael Jackson.
In 200 years time if the planet is still here people will be in awe of Michael Jackson and you my friends will just be dust.
FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS.
