Senate Pages Show H1N1 Flu Symptoms

(AP)  The Senate Sergeant-at-Arms says four summer pages are exhibiting symptoms similar to H1N1 (swine) flu and have been quarantined.

Sergeant-at-Arms Terrance Gainer says that the Senate's Office of Attending Physician will not test the pages for the H1N1 virus because the accuracy of the tests is poor and because it would not alter the treatment plan.

Pages must be high school juniors and at least 16 years old. They serve primarily as messengers. The current class numbers 50 pages.

Gainer, in a message to the senators and their staffs late Tuesday, said two of the pages were improving and were expected to return to work Wednesday. Two others fell ill on Tuesday.

Swine Flu Symptoms

The symptoms of novel H1N1 flu virus in people are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.

A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting.

Also, like seasonal flu, severe illnesses and death has occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus.

Please, all of you, google this: "Bird Flu, Donald Rumsfeld". You will absolutely choke on what comes up. The headline on this article is sooo misleading as you find when you read down and discover that they DON'T have the Swine flu, they have exactly the symptoms of your regular old everyday flu, but hey put "Swine" flu in the headline and help to scare the public into wanting their vaccine.....Look there's only been about 150 cases of "Swine" flu in confirmed in the world while somewhere between 34,000 and 64,000 regular (Rhino) flue deaths occur in the US every year (duh? that's not a pandemic but 150 deaths in the World is?). Also over 99,000 Americans DIE in Automobile accidents every year so why not outlaw Automobiles? (actually I wish they would, it would solve a lot of problems). Swine Flu! Swine Flue! God help us!!!! oh no, that's reserved for the Pharmaceutical industry who have already made a killing on Bird Flu, and so has Rumsfeld....likely two thirds of Con-gress are now invested in companies producing Swine Flu vaccines, hence the "pandemic", hey it also keeps "Torture" out of the headlines.

Hopefully they will inoculate the entire HOR, Senate, and Pharma CEOs first; about 6 - 8 weeks before they think they will start to force the rest of us to get inoculated.

Watch out people. between the greedy pharmaceutical lobbyist and various government officials, they want to pass mandatory vaccines. This is just one more step in padding the pockets of already to fat drug companies.

Concern should be more on the number of people that are dieing from these same companies drugs.

You can't trust them or our so called leaders. Its all about greed, not protecting the people.

What a shame!!

You are correct, the swine flu scare is just that a scare,,,,,this is just another attempt to create a cash cow for corporate America. Myself, I would not even consider taking ANY vaccine that the government says we need to take,,,,,,Washington of full of greedy liars who will try to do anything to force the people into illness or bankruptcy so that the greed needs of Washington and their lobby robbery buddies can be met. The very best thing that could happen to this country would be a revolution.
