(AP)  Kenny Chesney's new single, "I'm Alive," features an old friend: rocker Dave Matthews.

The song, which is co-written by Chesney, arrives at country radio this week.

Chesney and Matthews originally recorded the duet for Chesney's 2008 album "Lucky Old Sun." It also appears on Chesney's recent CD, "Greatest Hits II."

Chesney says the tune is about counting your blessings instead of worrying about what you think you need.
