Sugarland's Nettles On Vocal Rest

(AP)  Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles is on vocal rest after canceling two shows over the weekend.

In a video message to fans posted on the duo's Web site, Nettles said she has been dealing with voice problems since January.

She says she "blew her voice" from the combination of singing in the studio and on the road.

Sugarland canceled its Saturday appearance with Kenny Chesney in San Francisco and its Sunday concert with Keith Urban in Los Angeles.

The duo, which also includes guitarist Kristian Bush, is scheduled to perform Thursday in Sandy, Utah.

I will not miss her at all...I change the station when she comes on the radio. She has an overly strong voice and pronounces her words so countrified that it's unbearable to listen to...and I like country music.

She doesn't sing, she screeches and shouts. And K. Bush looks retarded jumping around on the stage.
