JFK's younger brother was U.S. Attorney General and Senator, but also fell victim to an assassin's bullet.

(CBS)  A new Kennedy affair is alleged in a soon-to-be-released book and it does not directly involve John F. Kennedy or Ted Kennedy.

Instead, the author claim's Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Bobby Kennedy shared a romance, detailed in the book "Bobby and Jackie: A Love Story."

C. David Heymann has written several biographies, including one of Bobby Kennedy, however, his latest book is sure to raise eyebrows with allegations such as Jackie Kennedy was spotted by a White House official in 1966 with RFK "straddling his lap, her arms around his neck."

At the time, Bobby Kennedy was married to his wife, Ethel, with whom he fathered 11 children.

Franklin Roosevelt Jr., President Kennedy's Undersecretary of Commerce, tells Heymann, "I suspect Bobby would've liked to dump Ethel and marry Jackie, but, of course, that wasn't possible."

The book hits shelves next week.

This is some author trying to cash in..They are dead. Leave it alone I say. I loved JFK and Jackie...and Bobby. In those days, we were crying about the Kennedys being killed. Can't think of one president I would cry over now.

What I'd like to know is how does Ted Kennedy sleep at night knowing he swam away from that poor drowning girl, leaving her helpless and quite dead, while saving his own sorry Aiss.

Absolute Garbage!! I can't believe this book will occupy space on a bookstore shelf when so many other gifted writers and their works will be overlooked.

The media needs to get over itself when it assumes everything the public has a right to know.

Truely sad if it happened. Not doubting it did, not adding credence that it did.

At any rate, IF it is a story, it is long past its prime.

WHAT matters now is Closure.

CBS : Time for Ted to Talk.

One last interview, tears, emotion, let everything hidden come out. What really happened that night ? What was he thinking, how did it go down, how does he sleep at night ? Are there still bad memories, or has he managed to continue knowing .... what ? What were the final thoughts on a life spent, alcohol influenced, for too long, perhaps, for ... now that the end is nearing. When the power of influence and money are running out, what have we to say ?

Time to Talk.

TIME to MOVE ON.

TED, CBS, one last interview. For us. For you. For our heritage to set the record straight, or forever your good works will be blemished by not coming forward , not stepping up to the plate at this time.

It takes guts now. What have you learned after all these years ?

All parties, except Ethel and the children, are all dead now, so who cares? This guy is just trying to make money off the supposed sins of dead people.

It is easy to say anything about dead people...Anything to make a buck, right? After all, the dearly departed have no way to defend themselves against the idiot rantings of anyone aspiring to nothing more than creating a scenerio that will hopefully prove profitable to them...

I have read just about all the books on the Kennedy's, JFK was someone I considered "My Hero"...I was 18 when he died. Photos of Bobby and Jackie always made me wonder if they were having a "thing"...and Ethel? she just looked the other way what else could she do? all those children they had...same with Bobby's affair with Marilyn...Who cares after all this time? They were and still are a very interesting family....I will certainly read this book...but it will never change my view of "Camelot" Jackie and Jack were just so charismatic to all of us! All the crap that comes out now that they are dead just shows they were human...although things like this were kept very quiet in the 60's...nowadays it is much more out in the open...
That's my 2 cents worth.

Why will you read this crap? Did you also read the stories in the Globe in the '90's about JFK in a wheel-chair meeting secretly with aliens from outer space?

Poor Ethel, no wonder she's drunk all the time.

11 kids?
