Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair (left, in a 2003 photo) was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head, in a downtown Nashville condominium Saturday. Sahel Kazemi (shown here in an undated booking photo) was also found dead, from a single gunshot wound to the head. Police said a pistol was discovered near her body. (AP)

Photo Essay Remembering Air McNair Steve McNair, a 3-time Pro Bowler and former quarterback who led the Titans to the Super Bowl, was found dead.
Farzin Abdi is Sahel Kazemi's nephew, but the two were raised together like brother and sister.
Abdi says he does not believe Kazemi would have killed the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and herself.
The two were found dead on Saturday in a condominium owned by McNair.
Abdi says police told him they are almost sure the 20-year-old Kazemi was the shooter, but he says she had no motive.
Abdi says Kazemi believed McNair was divorcing his wife and she was preparing to sell her furniture to move in with him.
Nashville police didn't immediately have a reaction to Abdi's comments.
Police say McNair was the victim of homicide, though they aren't yet ready to label Sahel Kazemi's death a suicide.
Meanwhile, a public memorial and viewings are scheduled later this week for slain former NFL quarterback Steve McNair.
The public will have a couple of opportunities to attend viewings in Nashville on Thursday, and a memorial will be held later that evening at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
A funeral will be held Saturday in Mississippi but arrangements are not yet final. McNair, 36, was from Mt. Olive, a small town in southern Mississippi.
Fans are asked to make donations to the Steve McNair Foundation.

- It is sad for these families. However, this man had no respect for women, his wife or his children. Just because he can throw a ball or run fast, he is still a sleezy pig.

- Well if he told her that he wasn't leaving his wife, that could be a motive for a scorned and humiliated woman. If the ring is still legally on the finger - don't mess with it, works for men and women.

- Yea Fred, it was the gun's fault. Mine are always going off on their own. I'll ask you like I ask everyone else wqith your perspective. What is your plan to rid the entire world of guns, no exceptions?
Waiting... Didn't think so. - Reply to this comment

- 1. I did not say the gun was "at fault". I said another gun was sold. Apparently, you are too stupid to read and comprehend my simple statement.
2. However, if his 20 year old GF was the shooter, as the cops believe, then YES, the gun is at fault. A 20 year old girl would have a very hard time killing a big football star without a gun. Guns make killing easy. Guns don't really have any other purpose. All you a**h0l3s who claim you got a gun for "self defense" are deluding yourselves. When someone shoots at you, you enter "fight or flight", your vision gets restricted, you lose fine motor control (in your hand, for example), and instead of "defending yourself", you are more likely to be killed or to kill the wrong person in your egotistical attempt to "defend yourself". The ONLY WAY to prevent this from happening is to undergo rigorous, intense, stressful training at least every other month. Do any of you gun nutz do that? I doubt it! Therefore, getting a gun is NOT the solution; it is the problem.
Every single time we hear about someone getting shot, guess what? IT'S A GUN OWNER WHO DOES THE SHOOTING! Hmmm.... I'm beginning to sense a connection between owning guns and murder!
- fred, You need a chill pill. You are short on facts and all you really offer are insults and falsehoods. Guns are used hundreds of times per day in self defense and most of the time not one shot is fired and no one is harmed. This suicidal woman obviously had problems and it is a shame Mr. McNair didn't keep himself out of such a situation!
