(CBS)  Summer can be rough on anyone's hair. Exposure to the elements can leave locks rough and dry.

But Kristin Perrotta, beauty editor of Allure Magazine and Nelson Vercher, celebrity stylist at the New York's Rita Hazan Salon, were on "The Early Show" on Tuesday, to help.

They shared their knowledge of helpful products to prevent and treat sun damage, as well as provided some styling tips to avoid bad hair days this summer.
