The Life and Death of Michael Jackson

CBS News will take a look at the life of musician Michael Jackson, who died Thursday afternoon at the age of 50. "CBS News: The Life and Death of Michael Jackson," will be broadcast at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and anchored live by Harry Smith.
Featuring interviews with music industry personalities and J. Randy Taraborrelli, author of "Michael Jackson: The Magic & the Madness," the broadcast will trace Jackson's meteoric rise from a member of the Jackson Five to platinum-selling artist and pop-culture icon, examine his famed showbiz family and his tumultuous personal life.
Smith will be joined by Lara Spencer, host of "The Insider" to talk about Jackson as well as the passing of another seminal entertainer, actress Farrah Fawcett, who died today at the age of 62.
