Obama should take responsibility for people not having electricity. Just because this is a natural disaster, doesn't mean that the president shouldn't be held responsible. President Bush was accused of not doing enough during Katruna. Has OPresident Obama made sure that these storm victims have electricity?

Amazing people will listen to someone saying the sky is falling and panic without every walking out the door to see if it is true. Ask anyone who has lived in an area for 30, 40, 50 or more years, and they will tell you all kinds of wicked weather stories, nothing new. My great grandparents and grandparents lived through the depression and used to tell stories of how bad the weather could get around the turn of the century. In the 30s we had the dust bowl in Oklahoma, less than 40 years later we had blizzards that left over 3 feet of snow. Weather changes, it always has. The man made drive to control it will end up causing more harm than good. Just because the worlds superpowers are worried about having their food supplies rationed by what are now third world countries. They keep telling those countries that all the rain they are getting is BAD, they do not want them to realize that with that rain comes the ability to grow their own food, and possibly ours. That is the real heart of the GW or CC movement.

These storms are a harbiniger of things to come. Yet amazingly, you folks who thing climate warming is a hoax don't see anything happening. Big coal and oil CEO's love duds like you. They will keep polluting the atmosphere and someday soon it will be too late to do anything but accept the cataclysmic weather changes that will wreck havoc on our world and people. So go ahead suppost the fossil fuel industry and when you don't have anything to eat and no place to live go outside and sit in your king cab pickup or giant SUV, you dipsticks.

States suffering from storms deserve federal grants to repair and rebuild. FEMA has technical capability to issue the money. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is in a budget crisis. State employees will not get paid after June 30. Ed Rendell insists on a massive personal income tax increase that would benefit his special interests. Felons in elected office will steal the Public's money. Hurricane Katrina proved that removing crooks from government positions is the only solution.

Too many people. An anthill can only support so many ants, after that, disaster. But no one can convince themselves of this. We are draining the planet. But it will recover in a hundred million years.
