(CBS)  Actress Denise Richards knows what it's like to lead a "complicated" life.

The actress and ex-wife of actor Charlie Sheen, with whom she has two children, is kicking off the second season of her reality TV show on E!, called "Denise Richards: It's Complicated".

Richards was thrust into the media spotlight because of a previous relationship with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, who is the ex-husband of a former close friend, Heather Locklear.

Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez talked with Richards about life, love and just exactly why her world is so complicated these days.

As Spock of Vulcan once said: "You may find that having is not as good as wanting."

That's true! What you say is good advice! But ob course, it depends entirely on the
person it applies to!

(comments about aging actresses)

Unfortunately, there is a lot of truth in your observations of their life style!

Fortunately, it DOESN'T have to be this way! At least some of them exercise, diet,
and maintain themselves in such a way that they appear physically younger
than their chronological years---not that this is imperative! It's not!

The point is---they choose to age gracefully! And, they do! No one stays 20 forever!

Denise Richards has the capability of being one of those who ages gracefully---the question is---whether or not she has the 'smarts' to?! I think she does!! As I said before, she can use me if she wants to! ;}

I love watching the movie babes getting older-it's amazing what they do when things start sagging, the phone doesn't ring, and heads no longer turn.

Hideous plastic surgery, obscene behavior, and idiotic comments are no longer thought to be cute and adorable-aging and mortality in tinsel town, it can be a byotch.

If the drugs and alcohol doesn't get em, early death usually does.

Ok, who's the new babe in line? Hi, sugar-howd ya like to be famous? Next?...keep em coming!

I wouldn't mind letting Richards use me; if she'd stop nuking her skin with ultraviolet, go back to her natural brunette hair color, and don't "pound on me" with stories about Charlie Sheen or Richie Sambora!

Because---she's a natural beauty---she doesn't need to do those things to enhance her looks!
And frankly, I don't care about those guys---and after breaking up with them---I'd think she'd want to forget about them, too! I love you, Denise!
