(CBS)  Nadya Suleman says her reality TV show won't exploit her kids as, she says, the Gosselins' exploits theirs.

Nadya Suleman says the reality TV series she's just signed up for won't take after the TLC reality show, "Jon & Kate Plus 8."

The "Octomom," who gave birth to six boys and two girls in January and has six other young children, took swipes at Jon and Kate Gosselin on the Web site RadarOnline.com.

"I just want it to be very not like 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' where I feel they've made a mistake by being... allowing it to be more exploitative and invasive in their kids' lives," Suleman said in a video on the site.

"Jon & Kate Plus 8" follows the couple as they raise their five year-old sextuplets and eight year-old twins.

Suleman criticized the Gosselins for conditioning their kids to living with TV cameras, which Suleman says she won't do.

"I want it to be documentary-style, monitoring their growth and development. I want it to be more educational, focusing on the effects of prematurity, even though my children are pretty much, like, not premature children. ... I want it to be more intellectual and educational, not so superficial."

The audience for "Jon & Kate Plus 8," now in its fifth season, has soared since the couple recently conceded that their marriage is in trouble, following reports of infidelity by both, reports both have denied.

I laugh at this due to the fact that the REASON this woman even GOT the show is because of her litter of kids.
Once california cps sees this show I hope they do theright thing and remove these kids from the home.

Nadya's pity party

Octo-Mom's Anguish: "I Screwed Myself. I Screwed Up My Life & My Kids' Lives`

Speaking with brutal candor, Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman reveals a bombshell to her best friend, and only RadarOnline.com can show you their intimate conversation.

In this brand new story, Nadya reveals --for the first time -- how she coerced the father of her 14 children to be the sperm donor, and that he was extremely upset when he learned she had frozen his sperm to keep having kids.

"I screwed myself. I screwed up my life and I screwed up my kid's lives. What the heck am I going to do?", Nadya says as she dines Wednesday night with her best friend at The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant in Brea, California near her home in La Habra, Calif. In another candid statement, Nadya says "I have to pretend I don't regret it."

Nadya also reveals that every day, her older children ask about their father, whose identity remains a mystery. "He's just afraid. He's hiding," says Suleman. "He'll lose everything".

In past interviews, Nadya has described the babydaddy as a "friend," but now, speaking to RadarOnline.com, she admits: "I secretly wanted him in my life."

Nadya says she wants to apologize to the father, saying "he's probably angry and resentful." Adds Suleman: "I'm the ghost that's haunting his existance."

She also says if the father does not initiate a relationship with her children on his own, she will reveal his identity to her oldest child Elijah when he turns 18 in ten years, so that he can contact his dad, if he wants to.

I want to know how she was able to afford the fertility treatments epecially as a unwed mother on welfare? I've been trying to have a child for over 5 years and can't afford any fertility treatments and my health insurance won't cover it. it seems that working families are paying for people who are irresponsible and having babies they can't afford to support themselves. The system is messed up, they should re-structure it, drug testing and only helping them to get on their feet, not all their lives and all of their kids. They need to go after the Dead Beat Dads and stop paying for all of these children of broodmare moms! I really think it's sending the wrong message to promote having children out of wedlock. Jon and Kate are married, the film crew basically films them like a documentry. But if they do put the Octomom on TV, then she could get off welfare and we can see her lose her children because she has too many to watch.

How does Octomom think she is not exploiting her children? You cannot control the situation once it gets started. The producers will do what it takes to have good ratings. I don't think she should be commenting on Jon and Kate. That's kindof like the "Pot calling the Kettle Black". Give me a break!!

JUST WONDERING WHY STATE HELP IS SO DIFFRENT? I LIVE IN MICHIGAN AND I HAVE CUSTODY OF MY NEPHEW BECAUSE MY SISTER DIED. MY HUSBAND GOT LAID OFF AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS OF SERVICE, AND I HAD TO LEAVE MY JOB OF ELEVEN YEARS DUE TO ILLNESS THAT REQUIRED CHEMOTHERAPY AND I COULDNT WORK. I TRIED TO GET HELP FROM THE STATE WELFARE SYSTEM FOR MY NEPHEW ONLY REPEAT ONLY HIM NOT FOR US, AND I WAS TOLD I COULDNT GET NO HELP BECAUSE MY HUSBAND MADE TO MUCH MONEY ON UNEMPLOYMENT. ($800.00 A MONTH). BUT THIS OCTOMOM CAN GET HELP IN CAL. FOR ALL OF HER KIDS. I DONT UNDERSTAND.

Hey I agree, this woman wanted to have all these kids, so let her take care of them. Both of these families are in it for the greed. Mamafaith I hope things are going better for you, I Know, been there done that.

Gee whiz, why would anyone think that Octomom is exploiting her kids? She's been doing exactly that since before they were born, trying to get individuals and groups to send her money to provide for her kids. If and when her "reality" show hits the airwaves and then fails (which it will), she will then willingly prove that she is destitute with no means of support, and the state of CA will be forced to step in and put all 14 kids in foster care. By all means, DO NOT WATCH HER SHOW and even better, NO NOT SUPPORT any of corporations that would advertise on her show! This woman has got to go away!

This has got to be the dumbist thing to come out of Hollywierd, yet. This rates up there with Nancy Grace and her vendetta on the Anthony family. America, TURN OFF THE TV's - go outside, meet your neighbors, organize a softball team, ANYTHING. How well do you know your neighbors? Bet not as well as you know Octomom. If you want reality, get involved with Scouts or Big Brothers or the Zoo or...Get the "Picture"?

Everybody do me a favor? Just don't want. It's like a train wreck, but if we ignore her, maybe she'll just go away.

Oops...I meant "just don't watch."
