Gitmo Detainee Dies Of "Apparent Suicide"

(AP)  U.S. military officials say a Yemeni detainee at Guantanamo Bay has died of an "apparent suicide."

The Joint Task Force that runs the U.S. prison in Cuba says guards found 31-year-old Muhammad Ahmad Abdallah Salih unresponsive and not breathing in his cell Monday night.

In a Tuesday statement, the military says the detainee was pronounced dead by a doctor after "extensive lifesaving measures had been exhausted."

The Yemeni prisoner, known as Al-Hanashi has been held without charge at Guantanamo since February 2002. Military records show he was about 31. His is the fourth apparent suicide at Guantanamo.

The U.S. military says the remains will be autopsied by a pathologist from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.

Gitmo is under DoD control beyond the borders of the US. The President has no control over Gitmo.

Another case of opening his mouth and making a promise he can't keep. Then the fool goes one step further and sets a date, without a plan for the detainee's future.

In answer to number 1 above: but yet they expect us to believe a bunch of bearded fools with toenail clippers and box cutters successfully attacked the headquarters of the greatest military on earth in the most controlled airspace on the planet, and having just weeks before earned their pilot licenses, managed to hit 2 bldgs direct on target in close sweeping turns, when expert veteran pilots claim it would be difficult in the extreme to accomplish and few can recreate on a simulator? Harder than Lee Harvey Oswald getting off 3 shots from a bolt action rifle dead on target in 6 seconds. (debunked as almost impossible years ago). But strangely akin to the "magic bullet."

I cannot answer with any credibility #2 but could geuss as well as any, but won't.

On #3, demolition experts agree the pancaking effect can be controlled in either direction depending on the timing of the explosives.

For #4, these fires still held temperature above the max burning temp of jet fuel for weeks when they should have been snuffed out due to lack of oxygen, regardless of the chemical makeup of any of the generators, power systems, except thermite which is designed for such extreme temps.

#5 You're right the steel didnt melt in the jet fuel fire as it wasn't near hot enough, though was probably weakened to a relatively small degree.

And nothing of what you speak would account for the core girders being precisely cut and melted as is shown in the photo if you looked at it. And according to witnessess there were many, many of the girders that bear/bore the same telltale markings.

Also, if you saw the page you would have seen the eyewitness accounts of many on the ground that day that say the explosions started at ground level or below, police, fire, and civilian witnesses.

The FBI showed up at the service station across the street from the pentagon 7 minutes after the supposed crash there, according to employees and the owner, to consfiscate the video that has never been shown and that the employees claim showed no airplane. Pretty good timing I'd say to get there in 7 minutes in the middle of full scale pandamonium.

But mostly, steel framed bldgs do not fall at the rate of gravity. Never have, never will. Anyone could understand the floors and ceilings pancaking one atop another, but the frame would still be standing there today regardless.

And we haven't even started talking about bldg #7 which wasn't hit by supposed aircraft but yet manages to completely collapse in 6 seconds flat.

As a Metalurgist with lots of experience in metals and concrete I will tell you that you have a great dream going there. Money buys knowledge and the Bin Ladens have billions, I saw the buildings fall and will tell you now that it "WAS NOT" a demolition type fall.
So take your 'Conspiracy" theorys and stuff them where the Sun doesn't shine...

Your conspiracy theory lacks credibility. Heres' facts.

Simple resoning of the obfious:
1. Bush and his team were not the brightest administration we have ever had. And you expect us to believe that somehow they pulled off the most collosal conspiracy the world has ever seen.
2. If the Bush secrecy machine was honed so well, why werent they able to gin up some WMD when they went into Iraq? It certainly would have been easier to fake WMD in a wartorn country than to completely hide the WTC conspircay you claim.

OK, play the "look at what happened" game:
3. We watched the building fall. From the top down. A building being demolished falls from the bottom up. The whole thing settles a bit, then falls down onto the lower sections. The WTC pancaked.
4. The so called "thermite" was most likely chemical fire caused by the large Uninterruptable Power systems housed on the upper floors of the WTC.
5. The steel did not melt for the building to fall, it only weakened. Coupled with the structural damage from the aircraft the upper floors pancaked down on the lower ones.

But I know Im not goign to convince you. Conspiracys are such fun. But other readers need to know this stuff is poppycock.

Now, the death of Marilyn Monroe, that may have been a conspiracy by the Kennedy family or its lackys.
