Man Admits Sex With Dogs, Gets 30 Days
A man accused of having sex with his two dogs admitted in Lewis County Superior Court he would be found guilty of cruelty to animals.
The 21-year-old from the town of Cinebar, Troy Whitson, was sentenced Monday to 30 days in jail and a deviancy evaluation. He's restricted from owning animals for two years.
His malamutes have been placed with new owners.
Prosecutor Michael Golden told a Washington radio station Whitson is a member of a group known as the Furries who identify with an animal and dress the part in makeup, ears and tail.
Golden says Furries gather for social events but having sex with animals is not part of their normal behavior. He says two other Furries who met Whitson witnessed the animal sex and turned him in.
