(AP)  Sarah Jessica Parker said she's concerned for the safety and well-being of the surrogate through whom she and husband Matthew Broderick are expecting twins.

The "Sex and the City" star told "Access Hollywood" that the attention has led to an invasion of the woman's privacy. Parker said the stress has taken its toll on her, and she worries about her "and the safe delivery of our children."

The 44-year-old said in an interview airing Tuesday on NBC that the surrogate's telephone and computer have been hacked into, and she's received threats. Parker said it hasn't ended there: "She's had friends threatened and family threatened and she's had family of friends threatened."

"I care deeply about her and I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy," said Parker. "I think even given the unfortunate way we live now in this unending appetite for the more salacious information, it has still shocked me, and it has still really disappointed me."

Parker said a pregnant friend of the surrogate was also chased by the paparazzi.

"She's had a friend who was thought to be her chased down a highway ... This friend is nine months pregnant - chased down a highway by photographers and dare I call them 'reporters.' I guess that's how they identify themselves," she said. "It's crossed lines - Pretty much all the lines have been crossed."

The couple has a 6-year-old son, James Wilkie Broderick.

Wow - calling someone a horseface! I never even heard that word used to describe a person before... but I guess when YOU'RE ugly, YOU know the HATEFUL words, right, STAY CALM (is that what your therapist tells you each week!); time to hit he/she up for an increase in your meds!!!

Sayingt this actress is barren is not only false - she has a child, *******. But, more importantly - if not a joke, is just so judgemental and hateful that only YOU must fear your salvation.

This narcissistic woman doesn't want sagging breasts nor a stretched out vajayjay. She is going to pay for a wet nurse too.

Wow, staycalm, you must be really ugly to write something like that. Ugly in face and mind would be my guess.

She is still a barren woman in the eyes of the Lord and will be denied heaven.

I assume that you're joking, but that's still a truly awful thing to write.

These picture takers (I refuse to use a foreign word to describe these losers) should be arrested and charged with harrassment. Just because you have a camera, does not give you the right to bother people.

I hope that the scum following and harassing these poor people are stopped. When is the industry going to put a stop to this? It's unreal. Although untold millions in my bank account sounds wonderful, at the same time I wouldn't want the invasion to my privacy at the level these people endure. It's horrible.

The only thing SJP needs to worry about is whether her kids will come out looking like her. One can only imagine that she had to have kids in this manner because no one would sleep with her, at least not with the lights on. I find it insulting that we are forced to see the woman's horse-face on billboards, sides of buses, magazine covers, etc...always portrayed as a great beauty! What bothers me is that someone with her looks (i.e. Thelma Ritter, Carol Burnett, etc) would have played character or comedienne roles in the past but this woman thinks she's beautiful and somehow convinces those in the industry to cast her in roles that call for alluring leading lady types. She even has the audacity to name her perfume "Lovely Sarah Jessica Parker". She needs to look hard in the mirror. I have never heard anyone say that they find her attractive and most people I know would be very happy never to see that face again. Sarah...go away!

The only way to stop these losers from chasing people down the street is for us morons stop eating this crap up in magazines.... if there's no demand, no need for a supply and these guys will be out a job. Tell your fans to stop buying media that use this information! People will listen to you!
