Meeting With Gitmo Inmate Turns Bloody

(AP)  A lawyer for a Yemeni held at Guantanamo says the prisoner slashed his wrist and threw the blood during a meeting at the U.S. prison.

Attorney David Remes tells The Associated Press that Adnan Latif used a piece of veneer from a table to saw through a vein in his wrist. Remes says his client apparently is recovering.

He says the prisoner kept his arms underneath the table to hide the wrist-cutting from the lawyer, an interpreter and guards watching Sunday over a video monitoring system.

The prisoner then hurled a container of the blood at his lawyer. Guards then subdued and treated him.

A detention center spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Adopt A Terrorist!
Poor murdering jerks won't have anywhere to go when released by Obama pardoning, like Mr. Slash N Splash, here.
He needs a home and a job! razor blades and an assortment of womens' underwear on his head.
Adopt A Terrorist! Adopt A Terrorist! Do your part to help the Obama Agenda move forward!
Adopt At Terrorist! He don't need much! Be kind, open minded, compasionate, multi-cultural AND PROVE it!
Adopt A Terrorist and let no one accuse YOU of being a bigot! And get him a job in a **** bath house near you, so he will be respected! Admired. Appreciated.
And buy him his own bomb sniffing dog!
the Adopt A terrorist plan is sure a big hit! huhh?

I guess it's alright to be put in a cage, without due process for years on end and not be expected to freak out. Who was this prisoner, how long has he been there.? What are the charges. Was he sent there because someone just pointed at him and said he was a terrorist or was he captured in battle.? For all we know, maybe. Just maybe he shouldn't be there in the first place and has lost all sense of humility. Oh sorry, I forget, since he comes from ONE OF THOSE countries, he must be guilty.

This is why these people should NOT be released! They are NUTS! If they will do something like that to themselves they won't think twice about doing worse to us! The minute they get back on their hom soil they'll join back with Al Queda or another terrorist group and they'll be right back to attack us or they'll attack our troops in Afghanistan or Iraq and Obama will be to blame!

This guy sounds ready for release. How about Washington DC? It's only fair that the people who made him this way should also enjoy the fruits of their actions. When you jail someone for nothing and keep him there for years, torture him a little or a lot, do a little depravation on him. You DO NOT get a rational human being to let out.
