U.S.: Militants Using Chemical Weapons

White Phosphorous Found In Dozens Of Attacks In Afghanistan, Military Claims

(AP)  The U.S. military says it has documented 44 cases where militants in Afghanistan have used white phosphorus in attacks or where the weapons have been found in caches.

Maj. Jenny Willis says insurgents are using white phosphorus in mortar attacks and in homemade bombs.

U.S. documents show that the most recent attack where militants used white phosphorus was last Thursday, when a NATO outpost in Logar province was hit with two rounds of white phosphorus fire. Most troops in Logar are American.

White phosphorus is a spontaneously flammable material that leaves severe chemical burns on flesh. Using it to illuminate a target or create smoke is allowed under international law, but rights groups say its use over populated areas constitutes a war crime.

The 'enemy' does not want blood. Bin Laden attacked us due to the presence of US troops on Saudi soil from the first Gulf War. Saudi Arabia is considered sacred land and (whether we agree or not) our troops flamed up hatred by a SMALL minority called Al Queda when 'non-Muslims' were on their holy lands.

Bring him to justice and stop all the fear mongering rhetoric.

The terrorist are getting experimental with the chemical weapon from the NBC triad. And a major attack in India not long ago was also a rehearsal for something.
In iraq Hans Blix failed to find the following: Brucella and Congo-Cremian hemorrhagic fever, ricin,sarin,aflatoxin....
Perhaps Obama is coming to grips with just how high the stakes REALLY are in this war.
The enamy will launch something worse on the USA than 911, or not bother. Just keep planning.
Each new President, over years, has had to manage a serious attack. At least one. The enemy is not going to let Obama slide. Not intentionally!
It's not a war for oil. The enemy wants blood. Just like in previous historic expansions. Before oil was invented. And if you're a comfortable American in your home and you don't think this war is a continuation of history,be advised; Our enemies believe it is! And from the times before oil, electricity, air craft...WMD.

Maybe the US military should try to figure out where the Taliban is getting the white phosphorus from? Maybe they should bomb that factory.

"Taleban using white phosphorus, some of it made in Britain"

It was White Phosphorous in Afghanistan that George W Bush was talking about when he was talking about Chemical Weapons. GWB must have gotten IRAQ and Afghanistan mixed up ! You know that Geography was not one of GWB strong points.

Now it all makes sence about the WMDs.

Typical of moslems to test WMD on other moslems and generate confusion, too.
Where is Hans Blix?
Our miliary has been politicaly used to push a refugy problem into Packistan. For the politics of that!
There's nothing peacefull about Obama/Biden/Clinton! They are about empowering the UN. And ensuring people can not resist the bad guys when the bad guys come, pushed ahead of the US forces.
The Democrats are miss-managing another war! Like they miss-manage peace befor 911.
Vice President Cheney will give another talk next week.

I see that none of you seem to care for peace all that both side strives for is to control people and poison them with your false lies.Put your hatred aside and be human and say to your masters no more will we be sacrificed for your own personal gain.

after all we are human and if you fight for your gods then they must be repulsed that you all use there name for such irrational acts (peace is good it does work)

We did not invade Afghanistan for oil. That was where the Taliban gave refuge to Bin Laden. That's where we went and should have finished the fight, instead we went to Iraq under false pretense.

The US also never signed up to use of White Phosphorous being classed a "war crime". Fact is it isn't as lethal as say a 155mm artillery round air bursting within about 200' of you. Guess there are some people that think you can fight a war without killing anyone.

Desperate propaganda from none other but the army that prizes itself by bombing people in their mudhouses. America is now truly a country of mostly cowards who are afraid of the people of mudhouses who have nothing but bare arms to defend themselves. Zionists PR training will simply fool the cowards who may sleep better tonight........

That is correct, we invaded Afghanistan so that we could build a pipeline across the country to bypass Russia and Iran. We could also have a base to invade Iran for the Israeli lobby.

Iraq was clearly about oil since all the other reasons were lies. Also the Bushoccio Neo Conservatives wrote about it in the Plan for a New American Century (PNAC). That is also the evidence they planned and carried out the 911 terrorist attacks (or at least let it happen).

The communist threat was all made up by crazy nuts like Reagan who were fans of fascism (American corporate control of the world). Most of those aggressions were based on lies and were to benefit the military and the war profiteers.
