No Place Like Home For Airborne Chihuahua

(AP)  Tinker Bell has been reunited with her blown-away owners after a 70 mph gust of wind picked up the six-pound Chihuahua and tossed her out of sight.

Dorothy and Lavern Utley credit a pet psychic for guiding them to a wooded area nearly a mile from where 8-month-old Tinker Bell had been last seen. The brown long-haired dog was dirty and hungry but otherwise OK.

The Utleys, of Rochester, had set up an outdoor display Saturday at a flea market in Oakland County's Waterford Township, 25 miles northwest of Detroit. Tinker Bell was standing on their platform trailer when she was flung into the air.

Dorothy Utley tells The Detroit News that Tinker Bell was found Monday after speaking with the psychic. She says her cherished pet "just went wild" upon seeing her.

These lame rat-dogs are worse than cats. Granted, both cats and chihuahuas are just a drain on the oxygen supply; but at least cats don't bark constantly at 3AM on a weeknight.

I'm not fond of chihuahuas either, but just because you don't like a certain breed of animal doesn't mean that they should not be allowed to breathe. Perhaps that is what they also think of you. Right now, that is the thought I am having and probably a lot of others are as well.

Gee Gemini, you must have a wonderful life hating people's pets. Maybe you should move to somewhere where they eat them.
