Hip-Hop And Country To Heat Up The Airwaves

(CBS)  Joe Levy, editor in chief of Maxim magazine, brought good news to hip-hop and country lovers when he visited the Early Show on Friday, April 16.

He said their favorite artists, including 50 Cent, Eminem and Rascal Flatts, are releasing new works this spring and are likely to rule the airwaves this summer.

In addition to some new albums he recommends from those genres, he also offered some new classic rock albums, and a list of the most popular MP3 downloads for you to add to your music library.

Hip Hop:

  • Rick Ross - "Deeper Than Rap" (release date March 24)
  • Eminem - "Relapse" (comes out May 19)
  • 50 Cent -"Before I Self Destruct" (release date pending)


Country:

  • Martina McBride -"Shine" (released March 24)
  • Rascall Flatts - "Unstoppable" (released April 7)


"Classic" Rock:

  • Dylan - "Together Through Life" (comes out April 28)
  • Neil Young - "Fork in the Road" (released April 7)
  • Dave Matthews Band - "Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King" (comes out June 2)
