Slain 2-Year-Old's Kin Will Appear This Morning And Tomorrow On "The Early Show"

(CBS)  The grandparents of Caylee Anthony, the Florida tot whose mother is accused of her murder, will appear Wednesday and Thursday in an exclusive two-part interview on The Early Show. It is their first interview since their granddaughter's body was found.

George and Cindy Anthony will talk with co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez on April 22 and 23, about the investigation into their granddaughter's death, and the timeline of events leading up to the arrest of their daughter, Casey, for the crime. The Anthonys also will talk about how their daughter is handling the prosecution's recent decision to seek the death penalty in her case.

Casey Anthony, 23, faces charges of first-degree murder in Florida.

Anthony has claimed that she left her 2-year-old daughter with a baby sitter last June and that she was kidnapped, though she didn't report Caylee missing for another month.

Cindy Anthony initially made the report to authorities that she hadn't seen Caylee for a month and that her daughter's car smelled like death.

Casey Anthony was arrested in October, as hundreds of volunteers searched for some trace of little Caylee.

A utility worker finally found Caylee's body in December in the woods near where she lived with her mother and grandparents.

Casey Anthony's trial is tentatively set for October.

Caylee was/is the only victim. No one fought for her. The A's continue to disrespect Caylee,even in death.

I can't believe that CBS would lower themself to scraping the bottom of the barrell interviewing the Anthony's, these people have absolutely nothing of value to say, they contribute nothing positive to other crime victims, they have no words of wisdom to impart(in fact, all their words are lies and excuses). They are a sham and a mockery to other crime victims, CBS didn't have the class that Oprah and the Melanie Rieger Conference had to cancel the Anthony's. I applaud them for their wisdom, and most of all for their sensitivity to other crime victims who work hard and give so much of themself to helping other crime victims, not going on a "poor casey" media tour and lashing out at people and obstructing the investigation, and lying over and over and over again to law enforcement, in depositions and to the public and the media (yeah, they lied straight to cbs this morning) what a total suck up cbs was to them. and cbs is NOT getting positive feedback for this interview, most people turned it off, refused to watch, cbs needs to get a clue, noone wants to hear from the lying, denying Anthony's any more. We're done with them.

I think Mr. Baez has sent them on this BS publicity stunt to show that Casey was this loving daughter.

Why on earth would Cindy have been suicidal in late July/August? According to the lies spewing out of her & her husband, at that time she believed Caylee was still alive!? She should have been out searching for her grandaughter instead of writing suicide notes. These people make a mockery of all the true suffering crime victims out there. They should not be considered crime victims when they are supporting/assisting the very one charged with that crime! At no time have they spoken out for little Caylee!

I did NOT watch CBS pander to these enablers & their scumbag daughter but I did watch the A's BS on UTUBE. As for Cindy saying that SHE was going to kill herself back in July, why would she off herself then? when she told everyone that Caylee was alive but missing. hmmmmmm....

I am sure this crap on CBS was pre-recorded. All our screaming is not going to do any good at all. I bet if someone could check the A's are at home. Maybe we should all demand time, for someone that can come and present the truth, the other side of the story. It is only RIGHT and FAIR to Caylee. DId you people forget what this story is all about? OMG, who were those people who claimed to be the Anthony's on this morning's CBS show? Apparently someone gave them a makeover, the constant chewing gum like a cow chewing its cud, the nasty ignorant attitude, I mean really, what an act? How much were they paid to do this, it seems pretty sad to me that they are now living off money due to their grandaughter's death....None of the questions asked reflected the contradictions and inconsistencies in their various testimonies with the FBI, Atty John Morgan and local Orlando police. Why weren't they asked why they said that Casey had stolen from the family, from the grandmother, from her mother, from her friends and even from her own daughter; no one asked why she was partying every night while her daughter was supposedly kidnapped; no one asked why the Anthony's had said that they both knew the smell of death, especially George in his FBI interview when he said I didn't want to think that, but that's a smell you never forget (George being an ex sheriff and Cindy being an RN both know that smell), yet later when they thought about how damning their statements were they changed their stories and said it was rotten pizza. Come on, rotten pizza, I don't care how hot it was, pizza rotting in the car does not smell like death, it does not leave hair with the deathband on it and it surely does not leave human decomposition in the trunk. They refuse to answer any hard questions on public interviews as they are trying to taint the possible jury pool. They are using the media to try to create sympathy for their cold blooded murderess daughter Casey and the are trying to create the element of doubt in hopes of getting the murderer off and letting her back on the streets to party, make out with other women, screw every guy she meets and get pregnant again so she can once again feel like a child is an anchor around her neck because it interferes with her trashy lifestyle and kill yet another child!.....Why didn't anyone ask them why they supposedly believed their daughter was working when she had not had a job in a couple of years, she apparently was not contributing to the household, she was stealing from it. Why would a non working loser like Casey need a Nanny? No one asked if Cindy felt guilt because Casey wanted to give Caylee up for adoption when she was born, even had a girlfriend willing to take her until Cindy said no so she had to keep her. When Cindy said I was just the grandmother, why wasn't she asked why the accusation had been made prior that Cindy even had Caylee calling her Mom in front ot Casey, causing severe jealousy? When Cindy said to Atty Morgan, no we never had a fight before she left, go ahead let him say that, let him look like an ass on the thing, I nearly split a gut because her own son Lee said they had a vicious fight the night before and Casey left with Caylee after Cindy tried to choke her. She had supposedly had enough of Casey stealing and when she stole the money from her grandfather's nursing home fund, that pushed Cindy over the edge. Do they really think that after all the interviews that have aired, hearing these statements in their own voices that suddenly we believe the lies that they have no had time to concoct? I hope they fry that daughter and I hope they charge the Anthony's with perjury and obstruction of justice because Cindy admitted to having given the Orlando police the wrong hairbrush intentionally when asked for a brush that "only Caylee" had used, she even joked that she should have given the police the dog's toothbrush. Does that sound like the Cindy we saw on CBS? Not to me!

I cannot find my comment from today at the disgust I feel regarding CBS' decision to go ahead and have the Anthony's on the Early Show. Apparently no one from your staff has taken into consideration all the comments that have been submitted and apparently just do not care!!
Here is an idea for your producers PUBLISH THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ACROSS THE T.V. SCREEN during the Early Show. Let whatever viewers you have left see why viewers have left your show - CBS should be fair and equal in giving the public the truth and letting whatever viewers they have left see what people who have actually followed this case know!!! Caylee needs a voice!! What media representative is going to be Caylee's voice??

I am beyond upset at this moment!!! I understand from someone that the queen of lies Cindy told someone at CBS she wanted to commit suicide too!!! Why is CBS giving these people a venue to spew their lies??!! This is the most deplorable use of media ever!! George lied and had a poor performance of attempted suicide also - give me a break - he has law enforcement background, lived right around the corner from the site where Caylee's remains were found IF he really was going to commit suicide all he had to do was walk around the corner and shoot himself at Caylee's site!!! He claimed he wanted to be with her well then why didn't he go there??
I'll tell you why - because the Anthonys are continually performing a horse and pony show to be in the spotlight and drum up donations - they think they have found their reason for being and are under the impression they are a celebrity status!! And people like the CBS producers and hosts are giving them license to perform. SHAME ON YOU!!! God bless and hold Caylee near to Him to protect her from the money mongers profiting off her death!
