(AP)  A 28-year-old man was sentenced to three weeks in prison for urinating on a 66-year-old woman during a Continental Airlines flight last month from Los Angeles to Honolulu, officials said Wednesday.

Jerome Kenneth Kingzio, a resident of the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, was sentenced after pleading guilty Tuesday to an assault charge in U.S. District Court.

The victim was headed to Hawaii on March 21 for a scuba diving vacation and was watching an in-flight movie when Kingzio stood up next to her aisle seat and began urinating on her midway through Continental Flight 3.

She pushed Kingzio back and he continued to urinate, according to the FBI's criminal complaint. Kingzio, seated a row behind the woman, had been drinking on the flight and annoying other passengers.

U.S. Attorney Edward Kubo Jr. said the woman reported that not only was her entire vacation ruined, but she continues to suffer emotionally from the incident.

The offense was witnessed by a special agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, who was seated a row behind Kingzio.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie Kobayashi also placed Kingzio under six months of supervised release following his incarceration. The judge also ordered him to undergo substance abuse treatment.

Not that the incident is acceptable at all but her entire vacation ruined! Seriously! Please, no one die, no one lost their savings, no one was scarred for life. It should not have happened and some people should be punished but what a crock and how stupid we all look yet again. If the vacation was "ruined" it was going to b ruined anyway. This victim is trying to capitalize on a bad incident looking to line her coffers. Please -- throw away the shoes and put your grownup panties on and act like a responsible adult.

To the guy that thought my aunt was to old to scuba dive, she also kayaks and bikes and rides a motorcycle. I know older people that do all this stuff too. You are only as old as you feel.

What I find the most disturbing is that people on the plane who saw this did NOTHING. Federal agent should be fired. This was an assault. She should sue the airline too.

What do you expect in an age of Obama remember liberalism is a mental disorder......

Jambo1970, I don't understand1 She was not "glorified as the victim", she was "IGNORED AS THE VICTIM" in this situation.. If she proclaimed she was traumatized, her feelings should be acknowledged, and she should be given the choice to press charges or "laugh at the situation"--now or later!?? Maybe I misunderstood your comment!??

It seems ignorance STILL runs rampant! What if this happened to YOU or your Mother, Grandmother---or your Child?? If this behavior is OK or accepted, where does it stop!!??
And just as when a woman whose endured being battered finally retaliates and then is found guilty for finally "snapping" , we should protest and question the deep seated behavior behind actions such as this man demonstrated and the fact that no MAN or person disapproved of his behavior immediately and authoritatively!! Laugh now, cry later:This isn't funny!

How rude and disgusting---With no one willing to provide assistance and having to defend her personal rights/space, she should have done a "L.Bobbitt" maneuver so he'd think twice about doin' that again!! But maybe she handled it properly---if one can sue for "hot coffee", surely she can sue for having to endure this appalling situation! What's next..someone can decide to defficate on you or near you publicly with no penalty?

Once again the Media glorified her as the victim. This is my aunt. While she waited for the police/FBI/law enforcement to take her statement, which never showed up, she almost missed the plane that was taking her to her boat. She did talk to the law enforcement after her trip.

This will eventually become a funny family story.

No worries!!! The woman was a liberal. Notice how she's portrayed as a "victim" the liberals always are.!

That would be a good movement to start....The "Pee on a Liberal" Movement. Pee on a dozen or more liberals in a month and get a free slice of American Apple Pie!

Some of the most entertaining as well a dangerous sights I have witnessed is the effects of alcohol on someone who started as dumb and the more they drank become dumber. Retaliation would have been my instinct. That would have been a stupid choice of action but probably appropiate. Where has the chivalary gone?

I find this talk about pee pee and poo poo on the plane quite arousing! I'd find it even more entertaining if it was not a 66 year old lady, but rather, Rush Limbaugh. He's been pooping on all the Dems, it's now his turn to get pee'd on!

You didn't answer my question. Are you saying that it is impossible for someone the age of 66 to scuba dive?

Posted by erasmus111 at 9:39 PM : Apr 16, 2009

I'll answer it for you. I have friends that scuba dive and they said that there is no age limit.
I also did a little research and all the information I found says the same thing. It says you are never too old to scuba dive, as long as your health allows you too. Not everyone at the age of 66 is on their death bed.

To answer your question, ask your doctor or any dive master about the physiological effects of scuba diving, especially as the diver's age increases.

I **knew** when I posted the original comment that some (uninformed) bleeding-heart, mealy-mouthed goose would respond just as you did, erasmus111.
