If Lohan's life were a movie, it might seem a bit like "Mean Girls." After the messy breakup with Ronson, Lohan's friends are shunning her, her career is in free-fall and US Weekly reports that there are fears the actress may hurt herself.
"She is devastated at this point," said Dina Sansing, entertainment director at the magazine. "She's sad, she feels alone and she's really upset…Sam has been a huge part of her life and she's really sad to see this relationship end."
It all came to a head at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood, Calif., when Lohan was ejected from a party that Ronson was throwing. Witnesses said she tried to kick the door down to get back in, but Lohan denies it.
The actress blames Ronson's family for the breakup. Published reports say they considered getting a restraining order against Lohan.
"Lindsay went through a very difficult period, she went into rehab, she conquered an addiction," Sansing said. "Some fear that Sam has become her latest addiction."
Back in 2007, she had two high-profile drunk driving arrests. After she went to rehab, the star's career hit a roadblock. Where her films like "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls" used to pack theaters, her latest film is going straight to cable.
"She used to command millions of dollars for every movie," said Sansing. "And now she's barely getting any movies."
