High Schoolers Unknowingly Taking Steroids
Roughly 580,000 high school students used steroids in 2007, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey.
Many of them were athletes.
In Part Two on Wednesday of her report on an Early Show investigation, CBS News correspondent Kelly Cobiella says many of the high school athletes know the steroids they use to try to bulk up and enhance their performance are illegal.
But -- many don't.
They're ingesting what they think are perfectly legal supplements. Instead, says one expert interviewed by Cobiella, the pills are really steroids masquerading as supplements.
The expert adds, "I want parents to know that these are highly dangerous anabolic drugs. ... They make you big and strong, but underneath, they cause all kinds of problems."
Cobiella pointed out that certain words buried in the fine print of such substances could tip off potential purchasers to their actual contents.

Anyway, about this story...
Somewhere, there are a lot of softball player girls with deep voices and hairy *****.
Yea,this is true.
Not to mention that it's likely more safe using AAS than it is playing football.
While I won't deny that nobody under 21 should be even fathoming using Ph's or AAS, but healthy adult males who do extensive research and are mature enough to know what they are dealing with, these substances can be relatively harmless.
There have been no cases where death is directly linked to the use of AAS, if there was I can't imagine how steroids are saving people with muscular distrohpy, AIDS, HIV adn people over 50 who want to enjoy life.
I'll say this again, there are far worse things a person can introduce to their body besides anabolic steroids. But nobody bothers to report them.
435,000 people die from Tobacco Use Annually
365,000 people die from Physical Inactivity, Poor Diet and Obesity Annually
How about reporting that?
If you eat meat, you are on steroids.
"supplements" like Tren to get an edge on the rest of the team. Just in the video where she asks if steroids were a problem, I could easily identify 10+ that are or have used these supplements, so don't think it was just that one honest guy that raised his hand. I remember my junior year in the playoffs at one of the weekend workouts one of the coaches offered to buy us Creatine, or other supplements. The problems, not just with steroids, at that school are way out of hand.
